Excellent product
Absolutely in love with this e.l.f. powder! Since I incorporated it into my makeup routine, I have noticed an abysmal difference in my skin finish. Perfect Finish HD powder blends perfectly, minimizing the appearance of pores and fine lines. Its light, silky texture feels incredibly comfortable on the skin, leaving no heavy or cardboard feel. It also controls brightness for hours, which is essential for maintaining flawless makeup throughout the day. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a quality compact powder at an affordable price, it's really worth trying. Its HD effect is undeniable and provides a professional finish.

Airbrushed Magic in a Compact
This is the best finishing powder I’ve ever bought. I was using the Maybelline FitMe in translucent for a while because it’s been such a cult favorite, but it always seems to make my nice foundation finish look cakey or chalky. I fluffed the ELF one on with a fluffy brush and it was airbrush magic on my face. No white cast, no chalky finish.

Sweat? Makeup stays in place
I can never not have this in my house. This really just completes everything. Less is more! This truly does a great job and creating a smooth, even, finish after everything is on.

Love the Product, Hate the Shipping
ELF is one of my favorite brands for affordable makeup. Their products are generally average to good quality and their prices are competitive. This setting powder is no different. I've been using it for a few months now, so let me share some of the pros and cons of the product.First, though, I would like to mention that when I purchased this through Amazon (as opposed to directly from ELF or in person at a drugstore) the powder, which is a pressed powder in a plastic case, arrived completely shattered. Not entirely unusable if you're willing to use it more like a loose setting powder as opposed to a pressed one, but very annoying. Beware of that before purchasing this through Amazon. As for the products itself, it is exactly as advertised. Some of the things I like the most is how it blurs my skin to look almost like I'm wearing a filter in real life. I usually use it as a second to last step in my makeup routine to keep from looking shiny or oily. Sometimes I use it just on my bare skin or with a little bit of primer when I don't feel like doing a full face just to give my skin that slightly polished look.It is also very lightweight and sheer as long as you don't use too much, but it does tend to last most of the day even with my oily skin type. Please keep in mind this is coming from a white teenager. I cannot personally attest to how this looks on skin any different than mine, whether that be in color, texture, or oil level.A few cons to this product, when you get to the last few bits of powder, it tends to be difficult to use as it breaks up and get stuck in my brush. This is a common issue I have with pressed powders, and as far as issues go it's not a big one. It just makes finishing up the product difficult and I usually find myself trashing the last remaining bits once I get a new one.Over all, I would give the product four stars. It's great for the price and it works for me. If you think it might work for you, I'd say give it a go.

I use this every day!!
I recently tried the **e.l.f. Perfect Finish HD Powder**, and it’s quickly become one of my go-to products for setting my makeup and achieving a smooth, flawless finish. Here’s my review based on its performance, texture, and how it holds up throughout the day.### **Product Overview**The **e.l.f. Perfect Finish HD Powder** is a **translucent, pressed setting powder** that’s designed to **blur fine lines and imperfections** while providing a soft-focus finish. It comes in a convenient **0.28 oz compact** with a mirror, making it perfect for on-the-go touch-ups. It’s a versatile product that works well on different skin tones because of its translucent nature.### **Application and Texture**The powder itself is **silky smooth** and lightweight. When applied, it doesn’t feel heavy or cakey on the skin, which is one of the key things I look for in a setting powder. It’s finely milled, which helps it blend seamlessly into the skin, leaving a natural, soft-matte finish. Even though it’s a powder, it doesn’t accentuate dry patches or settle into fine lines, which is great for someone like me with combination skin.### **Blurring and Smoothing Effects**One of the standout features of this powder is its **blurring effect**. It does a fantastic job of smoothing out the appearance of pores and fine lines, giving the skin a more **airbrushed look**. I especially like to use it around my T-zone and under-eye area where makeup tends to crease, and it really helps set my foundation and concealer in place. My skin looks much smoother after application, and it gives a beautiful, soft-focus finish that’s perfect for photos or everyday wear.### **All-Day Wear**In terms of **longevity**, the e.l.f. Perfect Finish HD Powder holds up well throughout the day. It keeps my makeup looking fresh for hours and helps to control shine, especially in oily areas like the T-zone. While it might not be as long-lasting as some higher-end powders, it does a great job for its price point, and I find that I only need a quick touch-up in the afternoon if my skin gets extra oily.Because the compact is so small and includes a mirror, it’s easy to carry in my bag for **on-the-go touch-ups**. I’ve used it to quickly refresh my makeup throughout the day, and it instantly mattifies without looking too powdery or overdone.### **Translucent Formula**The **translucent formula** is another plus. It works on a variety of skin tones without leaving a white cast, even in flash photography. It’s a great choice if you want a **universal setting powder** that won’t alter the color of your foundation or concealer. I’ve found that it works well whether I’m wearing a full face of makeup or just a tinted moisturizer.### **Size and Portability**At **0.28 oz**, the powder is small and compact, which makes it easy to throw in your purse or makeup bag. The built-in mirror is also handy, though it doesn’t come with an applicator. I usually use a fluffy brush or makeup sponge for application, but if you’re out and about, you might want to keep a compact brush or sponge with you for touch-ups.### **Pros**- **Blurs fine lines and pores**: Leaves a smooth, airbrushed finish that minimizes the appearance of imperfections.- **Lightweight and silky**: Applies smoothly without feeling heavy or cakey.- **Translucent formula**: Works on all skin tones without leaving a white cast, even in photos.- **Portable**: Compact size with a mirror makes it easy for on-the-go touch-ups.- **Affordable**: Great value for the price, especially compared to other HD powders.- **Long-lasting**: Helps keep makeup in place for hours with minimal touch-ups needed.### **Cons**- **No applicator included**: You’ll need to carry a brush or sponge with you if you want to apply it on the go.- **May require reapplication**: While it’s long-lasting, those with very oily skin may need to reapply in the afternoon.### **Final Thoughts**The **e.l.f. Perfect Finish HD Powder** is a fantastic product for anyone looking to set their makeup and achieve a smooth, flawless finish. It’s lightweight, effective at **blurring imperfections**, and perfect for **on-the-go touch-ups** thanks to its compact size. For the price, the quality is excellent, and it performs just as well as some higher-end powders. If you’re looking for an affordable, reliable setting powder that delivers a beautiful soft-focus finish, I highly recommend this one!

A little too white vs fully translucent
Very fine milled powder, which is nice for mature skin.I applied very lightly and it did leave more of a white powder look instead of really letting my foundation color fully through.I wanted to try this pressed powder hoping I could replace my elf halo glow setting powder because I go through it so fast and it’s $8 vs this one at $6. Unfortunately I’ve gotta stay with that one

Great price - and great product.
Love ELF products. This powder didn’t disappoint! It helps control shine and sets my makeup. I also like that I can dab a small amount underMy eyes and it helps with dark circles.
