I ate it because I love chocolate, but missed the sweetness. My fault completely. I should have understood no sugar meant no sugar added at all. Thought a little would be added. I must have been focused on it being Americannized chocolate too much.

Dark chocolate has slightly bitter taste

It cost over $11.00 and that included the Subscribe and Save discount. I usually buy organic no added sugar, 100% cacao from the natural food store and pay around $5.00 a bar for the same size. I bought this for a treat and needed something luxurious for a pick me up because I was feeling kind of blue and wanted to pamper myself. It is a whopping 25% hazlenuts according to the label but visually it looks like 60% nut content.....every inch of the bar is packed with hazlenuts and that explains the high price. Every bite has about 6 hazlenuts. There is absolutely zero sweetener - no xylitol and no alcohol sugars but it is surprisingly semi-sweet tasting! Usually 100% cacao has a slight bitter taste, but not this bit of chocolate decadence. I did sign up for subscribe and save but woefully had to cancel it - I just cannot afford over $11 for one bar of chocolate The label state 30% chocolate liquer, 10. 1/2% cacao powder - 16% cacao butter - so the total chocolate content is around 56% - the rest of the bar is chicory fiber lecition, vanilla natural flavoring. This is absolutely the MOST delicious choclate bar I ever ate in all my 71 years - with zero sugar content. The company has been in business since 1878! It is good for a special treat if you can afford it - I wish it came in bulk - maybe 6 bars and they could lower the price?

This item was accidentally delivered to our neighbors 2 doors down. We retrieved it based upon the door photo. The chocolate bar was not very good.

I'm so glad I finally found the original Italia 1878 Venchi extra dark with hazelnuts, by the window with my cup of Roast ☕️ Youll revel in a rich, nutty flavor and honestly tastes great. I will let you enjoy the fact that it's gluten-free and only contains naturally occurring sugars, whoot!! It is a perfect find for anyone who loves authentic Italian chocolate. Just wait a moment until you try a piece, alright? I enjoy shopping locally seeing if there are other flavors from the Venchi 1878 line available nearby

I like dark chocolate but this was bitter and not flavorful at all

This was so yummy. No sugar added so it was guilt free.

Per chi come me ha il diabete di tipo 2 questi prodotti sono fantastici perchè rimangono molto buoni, sfiziosi e soddisfacenti. E soprattutto non hanno il maltitolo che a livello intestinale è devastante. Stra consigliato.

Zucker ist leider geschmacklich unschlagbar, aber diese zuckerfreie Variante ist sehr gut.
