One of the better spray can paints
I've purchased this product many times and different places, consistently one of the better spray can paints. A little pricey here on Amazon but good product.

Polishing Issues
The paint sprays on well in thin and thick coats. It shows less orange peel texture that many other aerosols. I purchased this hoping that it would be good to build up on plastic parts for polishing, but results in a wrinkled or crazed texture over a few days after polishing. Very disappointing.

Good Clear Coating
I bought this to clear coat some new heat registers that go in the floor to replace rusted ones.Floor heat registers rust out due to mop water and spills, resulting in having to purchase them multiple times. This clear coat is keeping these from rusting out and they look nice and glossy.

Love the easy to use spray tip
The spray tip was a God send. Sprays a simple pattern that ensures your project will come out perfect. It mists it in just the right way to cover evenly like it is doing all the work for you. And it doesn’t hurt your finger if using multiple cans. This can goes a long way and makes a nice glossy finish. Not as glossy as the rustoleum gloss but this still is nice.

Not worth the aggravation - buyer beware
Time for some real world feedback concerning Duplicolor aerosols. Though the product itself can spray nicely, if you're using it in place of an HVLP solution, you're a coin toss away from ruining your project. If you're trying to save time or hassle from using HVLP for your finishing needs, think twice. The acrylic lacquer itself (pigment, binders, etc.) sprays nicely, is easy to use, and *can* give a semi-professional appearance to your work. I finish opaque colored guitars, and I decided to try Duplicolor aerosols instead of my usual HVLP setup.#1 - Before you attempt spraying it - pop the cap and look at the nozzle. If it's bent at any angle - RETURN IT IMMEDIATELY either to the store, or return it to Amazon. This can will have a faulty nozzle mechanism and will fail. It will start leaking profusely and drain lacquer all over - possibly including your meticulous, time-consuming project if not quick to act. Over 50% of every order, whether buying locally, or from Amazon, has this issue.#2 - Even if you have a good nozzle, think again if you think you can get by with one can for a guitar body. Every single can I have purchased somehow loses propellant or the ability to spray properly after using between 1/3 to 1/2 of the can. Some start leaking at this point, losing all your lacquer. Get this stuff at a local auto parts store for $7 per can, it's not worth paying $15 for an 8 oz. can that will cause you problems, and you have to throw it out when you still have plenty of lacquer in the can. Order at least 4x the number of cans you think you need.#3 - It *can* spray very nicely, especially when you warm the can in hot water prior to spraying, like nitro... but who really cares about that, because no matter what, they all have a tendency to 'spit' lacquer onto your project, no matter how careful you are, or how much experience you have. I'm not going to keep wiping the nozzle after every single pass, nor will I put up with a can that spits all over my project.#4 - I have had zero, and I mean ZERO issues with any aerosol from ReRanch or Colortone (StewMac), or Behlens aerosol nitro lacquers. NONE. Take that for what it's worth.I will not use this product anymore for these reasons. The aggravation factor is too high. Going back to HVLP or using the other aerosol vendors above, where I don't have to worry about faulty can manufacturing spewing lacquer all over, or ruining time-consuming guitar builds.

Colorific
Easy coverage of my guitar with a good primer as a base coat. Dries quickly. I ordered two but haven't even needed one whole can yet.

Excellent
I'm very happy with the performance of this clear lacquer paint. Multiple layers are required for a professional look. Take your time to get quality results. I used it on a car part, on top of new paint.
