I have 2 of these for an inflatable fishing boat that I can mount a small motor on the back. I get a solid 3-4 hours of none stop power and once the first one runs out, I switch to the second to head back. I charge them with some small solar panels, which does take several hours but so far the system works great!

Sometime you just need a basic battery without a fancy display, bluetooth, wifi, on/off swtich, electronics.This battery is always ON, and does not need a power converter to generate 12v. I'm using it to occasionally power a 12v fridge. It would be great to run a dash cam, a 1 hour charge at 20 amps when the engine is on would power a dashcam for a week.This is LiFePo4 battery, which is less energy dense, but also less likely to catch fire compared to Lithium Ion batteries. I plan to keep this in my car, and a Lithium Ion battery sitting in a hot car would worry me. Keeping batteries at a lower state of charge (below 80%) also minimizes the risk of fire.I have a teardown video on youtube if your interested. This doesn't seem to have short circuit protection, the manual states it can do 75A for 10 seconds, and short circuit cutoff kicks in at 500A. The internal wiring is 12awg, rated for 25A, so there's a risk of melting or smoking something. I added a fuse inside the battery case for added safety.

UPDATE: Was contacted by vendor 11 months after purchase and shortly after my post here. They were concerned about my issue as reported. After several emails back and forth they have sent me a replacement; I received it yesterday. Their customer support was excellent and very friendly. I explained my situation and process and they were not hesitant at all to offer a free replacement. I am bumping my initial rating up from two stars to a full five stars largely due to the customer service and the replacement sent eleven months after purchase.ORIGINAL POST: ... Perfect size and fit for go-to box to power ham radio gear. Sad part is shelf life is terrible. Used three times over past 10 months and had to recharge from 0 volts each time. My other 7.2 Ah backup maintains a perfect full charge over same period. Very disappointed. I may have gotten a bad battery with an internal parasitic drain, way past return window.

The battery itself is great, I own two of them and use them in my Livescope shuttle for both ice and open water fishing. The unique, compact design allows for me to easily switch out batteries and added DC jack makes charging simple.More importantly, it’s hard to find Amazon Lifepo4 batteries that are budget friends and have a warranty outside of the 30 day return warranty. Eco-worthy offers a 3 year warranty AND THEY HONOR IT! After a few quick emails back and forth around an issue with my battery not holding charge (older model) they were quick to respond and offer a replacement with their newest model of the same battery. You cannot beat the customer service or the price. Usually there’s a trade off between these for almost all companies, but no Eco-worthy!Buy this battery! It’s quality, low cost, and backed by a REAL warranty.

Probably the worst thing I’ve ever bought from Amazon. I’ve used this battery a whole 3 times and each time the battery life is less and less. At this point it doesn’t even last 10 minutes before it’s nearly dead. Don’t bother wasting your money on this and spend a little extra buying something nicer.
