As far as I believe there is no ph. It’s acid. When you apply it you will need to neutralize it in order for the acid to stop working. I use baking soda. If you leave on your skin too long it will burn.

What is the estimated “recovery time”, or time it takes for skin to look natural & not reddened?

Try and completely avoid the sun for at least 48 hours. If you have to go outside, make sure you completely covered and at least 50% SPF, and wear a hat if possible, during that time!
