Works well on chapped skin from CPAP

I just starting using a CPAP this year and ran across this moisturizer and LOVE it!!!! I wish it came in a bigger container!! I have already put more in my cart and use this product everyday! Definitely recommend!! It is so soft, non-greasy, and soaks right in! There is no scent and it has never caused any type of reaction to my skin, and I am allergic to almost everything. Wonderful product!!

I have started using a new APAP with nasal pillows. After the first day, a sore appeared on the edge of my left nostril. I don't know if the pillow actually caused the sore, or it just aggravated something already there. In any case, the sore made wesring the pillows very uncomfortable. I found CPAP Chap on Amazon and decided to give it a try. It works great. As soon as I applied it, the sore felt better. At night I applied some to the outside of the pillow. I could not feel the sore at all. Admittedly, the sore was not very big, but it had felt like it was prior to using this stuff. However (there is almost always a however), the product is very liquid. I was expecting more of a cream. As a result, it is somewhat difficult to place and keep it in an exact spot. That is why I applied it to the pillow instead of directly on the sore. Even with this problem, I still highly recommend it.

This is exactly what u have been looking for! This has cut down on the chafing from my cpap mask so much, and I love that it doesn’t break me out. I also love that a little goes a long way, so the tube should last me a while.

If you're looking for a thicker moisturizer, this isn't it. It's like a very thin consistency lotion. The smell is almost nothing and what fragrance it does have is pleasant. I don't hate it, but I wish I had something that was thicker so that I didn't need to reapply as frequently. This doesn't keep the area under my mask moisturized the entire night & I've ended up with a small pressure sore under my nose.

If you use a CPAP with a nose mask, you know that sometimes your nose can get a little chapped and sore. Normally, I would just use a little petroleum jelly to help, but you can't use that on your mask without ruining the fit. This stuff is great. Just dab a little around your nostrils before you put on your mask and you won't have any problems with chapping. It doesn't take much. I would call it a lotion rather than a cream, but it still works great. I use 2 or 3 tubes a year.

My ENT doctor recommended this. Love it!
