Q: i would really like a clear diagram on how to wire this to a simple 12v bulb driving me crazy either i cant get it right or its defective

On your work surface, place a 9V battery, the INSMA unit, and a 12v bulb, lined up left to right. To create the circuit you're looking for, run a wire from one of the battery terminals to the INSMA unit, another wire from the INSMA unit to the light bulb, and a third wire from the bulb back to the other terminal on the battery. That creates a simple circuit that allows you to turn four devices on and off remotely just as though you were working on/off switches. The INSMA unit contains four relays, which are actually four simple on-off switches, which correspond to the four buttons on your remote (A, B, C and D); of course you'll need only one of them. Removing the cover of the INSMA unit, you will find a tiny black plastic jumper sitting on a pair of tiny, vertical pins; how you position it on those pins determines what it will do â" but I'd suggest you simply remove it and tuck it away someplace in case you want to play with it later. Without jumper, the remote unit works just like you'd expect it to, just four simple remote control on-off switches.The unit is working fine for me â" it replaces a remote control unit from a Sears garage door opener which quit for no obvious reason, and Sears was of absolutely zero help in fixing it.However, you'll find that the life of a 9V battery cell is measured in just hours with this unit. I'd suggest you modify a very simple 115VAC-to-12VDC converter similar to what you see at www.ebay.com/bhp/120vac-to-12vdc. One end plugs into your wall socket, but you need to nip off the connector on the other end, then strip it back slightly so you can get at the two wires inside; one is usually black (minus), the other red (plus). Plug those two wires into the INSMA unit, observing polarity, and you'll be in business.

Q: What is the warranty policy on this item? It was great for a month, then quit working unless you have the transmitter close to receiver.

This transmitter are not working very well for me, it's keep turned on by themself, when I turn it off at night time, in the morning is already ON again. I turned off and go work, when are coming back, the switch it's ON, again. I ended return it for a full Refund.

In the add it says it can learn up to 12 different codes. I think this will be something to order separately from the manufacturer. What are you trying to control? Perhaps there is a better solution.

One of the ones I had connected to my keyless entry on the car "froze". I had to remove power, and restart . Once it recycled, it worked fine. If it will not learn, then it must be defective. Return it and get another.
