DURATECH 6-Piece Hose Clamp Set, Pinch Clamp Pliers for Flexible Hoses, Fuel, Gas, Brake & Radiator Lines

Honestly, I was surprised they worked as well as they did. I used these clamps on my brake lines while changing out the calipers. Very impressed at how easy they were to use and how well they worked. Not a drop leaked and it did not damage the hoses at all. I would recommend for those needing a quality, but inexpensive set of hose pliers.

Despite working as an auto technician for several years, I never had a set of these clamping pliers. I always used a set of needle nose vise grips with vinyl tubing over the jaws to protect the hose I was clamping shut. It worked fine, but it meant that my vise grips were clamped onto a hose instead of in my tool cart in case I needed them.I recently had to work on two different fuel systems-- my motorcycle, and my lawn tractor. Out of curiosity I searched for hose clamping pliers and saw that I could buy this set for $15. At that price I decided they were worth the gamble.Let's be honest-- you'll never mistake these for a set of Snap On pliers. They feel a bit flimsy and even at their tightest setting, they don't clamp as tightly as a really good set of hose clamp pliers. However, I've used them on 2 different fuel hoses so far and not a single drop leaked out once these were tightened down. In other words, they won't win any prizes but they work fine. Since I don't do this for a living any more, that's fine by me.I wouldn't expect these to stand up to heavy use in a shop, but if you're a starting tech or a home-gamer, these would probably work fine. I do like the fact that some have angled jaws to allow you to reach hard-to-get hoses, and they come in a good mix of sizes.This is a good kit to have if you don't want to spend a lot of money but still need something of reasonable quality to get you started.

These clamps worked great for what I needed them for.

Worked well to clamp hoses while I worked. Saved me from having to buy antifreeze and kept the mess to a minimum. Well made, easy to use.

I left a 3 star because the small and mid size ones work fine as of now but as soon as i clamped a hose with the larger one it fell apart it looks like the screw doesn't hold enough and just comes apart i put it back together and same thing and that was with both the larger ones the kit came with just be aware of that when purchasing.

I have many subscriptions including Harbor Freight where I could've bought the same item but in less number of items and more expensive.What I really liked is that this set gave me more flexibility when I wanted to bleed my brakes. I started with the bigger size and keep reducing until I found the size that works well without putting too much pressure on my brake line.So, I'll 100% recommend this item.
