Not great, but worth it
That's not the most glowing review title, but I think it's accurate.Cons:- Plastic (seriously, why aren't these aluminum? I'd pay the extra dough)- Doesn't do a lotPros:- Won't rust (because plastic)- Does something, and does it silently- Inexpensive- No energy or filter costs- No maintenance other than filling and cleaning once a year- Won't show if 'installed' correctly on an agreeable radiator- Designed well enoughI have two different kind of radiators and it works for both - one of the radiators houses three Snow Joes. The first radiator in my pictures I bent the hooks twice; first with my hands to a curved 90 degrees, then a second time I put the last 1/2" in a bench vise and bent it to a sharp 90 degree. Note that pliers would work too - the metal is sturdy yet pliable. The trick is to get it to sit flat on the radiators. That's why the second radiator in my pictures has a piece of trim lodged behind the Snow Joe - maximum contact with the radiator. Some reviews mention the triangle wave shape doesn't work - and this is a technically correct statement. Not ALL the indents line up, but some will inevitably - and if they sit flat as mentioned above you'll have good contact. Note that my radiators are hot water and they work just as well (obvious, but it's labeled "for steam heat units").In summation: I have four downstairs, and I assume they'll pay themselves off in a couple years. Worth it for me.

Bad design makes these ineffective
There are several problems with this product that make it very ineffective. First, it’s made with plastic and doesn’t conduct heat well so the water never gets very hot. Second, the exposed surface area of the water in the humidifier is very small reducing its effectiveness even more. Third, it’s it’s on the side of the radiator instead of the top, again preventing it from getting warm. Lastly the clips that hold it in place don’t actually fit any of the radiators in my house or business without modifications. We have several types and shapes of radiators but this humidifier does not fit any of them out of the box.

sorry but this just didnt work
this container is made of cheap plastic and very flimsy metal hooks that are way to short. if you have a original cast iron radiator that is wide this will not fit the back to hinge it on the hooks are to short to attach to the radiator there should have been a description of the dimensions of the hooks! the positive side was that my refund was prompt.

Use your old fashioned radiators to the max
If you live in an older house, these are great. I have eleven radiators in my house. Eight had covers with water pans. For the others I’ve been looking for a retrofit pan and these are perfect. Skeptical about a plastic water tank (mine are all tin) I gave them a try and they work perfectly.

Doesn't fit old radiators
My 100 year old house came with a bunch of these and I was excited to find new ones because not all the radiators had them. I bought it at the end of the 2023 winter and just installed in (January 2024).It does NOT fit the radiator!!! This mades it fairly useless because it needs to wrap around the fins in order to heat up enough to evaporate the water. It was also wider than my old ones so I had to do some rearranging and put it in a different room than planned. Otherwise it would have stuck out from behind the radiator. But it's almost like they had an old one and enlarged it by a certain percentage, throwing everything off.The hooks are not the same as the old ones even though the hook locations are the same.I give two stars for keeping the tradition with a decent price but it's going to fail on actual implementation because the fin sizing is completely wrong. Very disappointed.

It definitely gives less moisture than an electric humidifier however ...
It definitely gives less moisture than an electric humidifier however it works effectively as it is. I feel more the difference in the room using this that a steam puffer.

Didn't even work a little bit
I had high hopes for this item, despite the other reviews, but they were exactly right. It's made of thick plastic, so the water doesn't heat up regardless of how hot your radiator gets; the hooks are not practical at all; and the zig-zag design doesn't fit any radiator I've ever seen. I left it filled with water for days, but exactly nothing happened. Oh well, back to Amazon it goes!

What to do with hot water rads?
The fit wasn't perfect but it solved the issue of static shock during the winter when heating with hot water rads.

This product is useless, please read this review ...!
I have never written a review before writing this one, so that is how bad this product is! I bought 4 of them to distribute around my house and I should have trusted the negative reviews on this product. Please don't waste your money on this item. I filled them once and its been well over a month and its barely half empty. So no return on investment here when it comes to humidification. My radiant system is excellent with radiators that get so hot you can barely touch them. Maybe made out of metal would have possibly been a better choice in the manufacturing of this product as metal is a much better conductor of heat. Hope this review helps you to save your money and look for a different solution to your humidification needs.

Water doesn't evaporate
Sadly this product doesn't really work. Been on the hot radiator for three days but barely any water has evaporated so it's not humidifying the air.
