Is each weight only 5lbs and the total of all four is 20lbs?

Yes, as it states in the product description. Take the total weight and divide by 4, so a set of 30 Lb. weights would be 7.5 Lbs. each, 40 Lb. set would be 10 Lbs. each. I got two 20 Lb. sets so I can either adjust the weights depending on wind, or weigh down two canopies at the same time. I have weighed down our 12' square canopy in 25 mph winds with no issues, these work great and fast. Do not rely on the straps as carrying devices, just to hold a set of four together. The plastic snap buckle is not strong enough to hold the weight.

What is the diameter of each individual weight? Are they all the same diameter?
