TotalBoat Wet Edge Marine Topside Paint for Boats, Fiberglass, and Wood (Sea Foam), 1 Gallon (Pack of 1)

I love this color. It was slightly darker than the “sea-foam green” you will find on boats painted in factory. My boat was very dull and after applying this gel coat, I was looking into my reflection. I cannot speak on durability, as I haven’t put her back in the water yet, but all in all I was very happy...especially considering the much lower price for the good quality. I would recommend 🤩APPLICATIONWhat I will say is-use foam rollers and have someone tipping-make sure weather is right and good(Drying time took awhile)-apply light coats!(Very important b/c dry time will cause drooping if too thick and you will not be able to keep up with tipping)-Do NOT add thinner/ FLOW(Unnecessary- we did and wished we had NOT)Also, this is an oil based paint, yet that was noted nowhere in the can or listing.

I sprayed the the top side paint thinned around 10% with epoxy thinner sprayed nice and layed up flat with a hvlp gun spraying at 40psi I most definitely will be using again on the next build make sure to prime with the primer for this paint I will say I’d like it to be a harder Cured paint but I’m a gel coat guy so I might be asking for too much

The can was bent with pin sized holes in the bottom. The top seal was broken. The paint had a solidified layer at the bottom which could be felt when shaking the can.

So the color was perfect but the it didnt seen to stick even with the primer. The dry time is over double what it says. I did love the color though.

My slide looks great. The paint seems to be holding up well. The slide is slick and the kids are loving it. The color is perfect for a slide. The paint takes 6-8 hrs to dry, and it takes several coats. Prep well before painting. Each successive coat takes longer to dry. Clean-up of painting equipment is not easy. Takes a lot of time to clean up. I expected that...this is not cheap latex paint.

Don’t waste money on cheaper paint. Covers great. Rolls easy. Hard finish. Perfect.

Received damaged paint can. Showed sign of small leak. The bubble wrap pushed the can to be larger than the actual box size therefore the box was no longer protecting can. This is a great product and not cheap! Company should pay more attention to their packaging. Especially since it’s a non returnable item.
