Original press is awesome, as is this replacement carafe after the original was broken in our dishwasher.

Use caution when handling.
I like their system but I would caution everyone when handling the glass. It seems to break or chip extremely easily. Unfortunately, the stainless steel option is really expensive.

Poor fit original was not loose like this!
The new glass is a lot smaller than original and is very loose in the French press.

Perfect fit.
Perfect fit! My husband broke our first one and I needed to replace it as I have to have coffee in the morning. I’m enjoying the French press much more than a coffee maker as the coffee taste better. I will need to order one and keep it on hand in case he breaks it again.
