We replaced boring, low-quality, matte black pulls on white cabinets with these brushed gold pulls in our newly built home. I'd planned on painting the cabinets, but after replacing the pulls, I decided to save the $2500 in paint! We've remodeled numerous homes and installed many pulls over the years in kitchens and baths. These pulls are extremely high quality! In fact, of the 55 ordered, only a few had very tiny nicks or finish blemishes that could be hidden by installing with blemish down, as another reviewer mentioned. The color and sheen are perfect! Until recently, I've found it difficult to find an acceptable "gold" color, with many pulls poorly "painted" or in odd, brassy, or dull, dark gold colors. These are a light gold, not quite champagne, with no visible "brushes," a subtle sheen, and are very pleasing. They look expensive and classy! Price-wise, I've been shopping for over a month with numerous retailers and found their quality exceeds their cost, especially compared to other well-known brands. The design and quality compared to pulls twice or 3 times their cost! The heavy weight makes them stand up to daily kitchen use, and they were a breeze to install! Holes were exactly spaced 128 mm apart and were installed in less than an hour! Southern Hills appears to take great pride in product design and manufacturing and ensuring a high level of quality control. I highly recommend this brand, and this pull design is not what you see every day. It's classic with a modern edge at the wide base and will stand the test of time. I wouldn't hesitate to purchase these again!

I was so lucky to find these handles in 2025, again, after getting them in 2018. At the end of 2025 we replaced the pantry with a new double wide pantry and wanted to match the handles we got thru Amazon in 2018 and we did. The new, built in pantry looks like it’s always been there. They are perfect in every way!

We have not used these handles yet as they are for a kitchen that is still being installed. We ordered two five packs of this size as well as two five packs of another size. My review is for all of both sizes. I have to say that these arrived well packaged, wrapped neatly in tissue paper and sealed in individual plastic bags and then sealed in larger plastic bags in multiples of five. They seem solid and should hold up under normal kitchen use. Upon inspection, most were just about perfect. Only a few had a small dimple in the metal or a minor scratch. One had a "blotch" on it as if the finish coat missed a spot. These imperfections are fairly minor and we can hide them by installing the drawer handles with scratch or dimple facing down. That said, at least one handle had a gap where the screw hole will meet the cabinet drawer. Hard to explain but no matter which way we face this one, the gap will still be visible between the cabinet front and the handle. I think I will have to exchange this one if we cannot figure out how to hide it but not until I take a second look at all the other handles to make sure this is the only one with a gap. Finally, we are DIYers out of necessity. We purchased a fixer upper because that's all we could afford and after four years we are finally getting around to replacing forty year old pressed board cabinets. We searched big box stores as well as Internet to find attractive cabinet handles that we can afford. We figured each handle would cost a few bucks but some similar types are priced $20-$70 PER HANDLE!!! Just not in our budget. Then I found these from Southern Hills. A Godsend! Very attractive handles at a price we can afford. AND...matching handles in two different sizes. You wouldn't believe how difficult it is to find a company that offered a handle design that comes in different sizes. So happy I found Southern Hills product via Amazon otherwise we would have had to settle for the inexpensive little mushroom knobs from a big box store. Our kitchen will look so much more elegant with these. Thank you Southern Hills.

these look nice in a modern/contemporary or transitional kitchen or bathroom. after i purchased i saw them used a lot on hgtv if anyone needs an endorsement. the finish is really nice - soft, satiny and not harsh. a design point of interest perhaps (no pics, sorry) - I bought 2 similar sizes of these (tallest and next size down) and most are placed vertically. I had my handyman install the smaller size pull parallel /side by side to the taller one so that I have double handles (he had to create a template to align); one taller than the other; about 1/2 in between them. I also fooled around with the placements on bottom cabinet doors. NO KNOBS. Maybe not to everyone's taste but all who have seen stop to look - and like. it's different, unique and the design softens the stark, plain white cabinet doors i just had installed. hardware is a great way to refresh and jazz up almost anything and it's a key element in any design i try.

These handles from Southern Hills are very nice and are cast out of solid metal. Holding them gives you a sense of the quality as they're heavy and feel good in your hand. The style is simple and modern and would look good on almost anything. We also ordered another style, the "Black Square Bar Cabinet Pull" from Goldenwarm (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01N1Q30LQ/) to use in a bathroom. When we got the handles from Goldenwarm we opened up both packages and got ready to install them. The first and second handles from Southern Hills that we opened had some pretty obvious scratches and scuff marks on them, even though they were wrapped in tissue paper. I think they were previously returned and then resold. All that aside, these are beautiful, high-quality solid handles, but I recommend that when you get them you open them up right away and take a look at each one to make sure that they're in good condition.
