It jad the unprotected threaded input shaft hanging out of the box upon arrival, which in most cases would marr the threads and make it unuseable. In my case, Amazon handled it well enough to prevent damage, thank goodness. However, be aware as a buyer, that the product is not sufficiently protected and may come damaged, not the fault of shipper, just poor packaging for such a heavy metal product. As a metal sculptor that ships heavy metal products constantly, i can say this from experience to the manufacturer, they need to package properly.
