Your awning will need to have a hook or islet that turns to control the motion of the awning .... see the hook on the top .. it turns when you turn the handle ..

Works great and easy to reach. My wife is 4'11" and she can reach the awning. Well built and sturdy. They did send the crank handle in a HUGE box. You could put 2 radiators in the box...crazy! I kept the box for future shipping. 5 stars.

Foldable handle could be suspect

Service was great and the product was as promised. I have a bit of a concern about the strength of the unit at the spot where the crank 's handle unfolds - in use, it feels a little flimsy, but it held up. We shall see how long it lasts.
