My daily, ready for anything.
Love the size of the face and the quality feel. Took me a few goes to remember how to reset the date every month, but it's easy to set up once you do it a few times. The Eco-Drive tech is such a cool idea, and while I can't personally speak to its durability over time it seems to work as advertised. Love the smart styling too, casual/professional. I wear this one almost every day, and it has had no problems holding up to the elements.

Good looking and keeps PERFECT time!
I wanted one of these for years but the initial price was high. I kept waiting and it finally went on sale just as one of my cheap watches died. The actual watch is just as good looking as the picture. It also keeps PERFECT time! Since it does not need batteries there is no reason to open the case. I have another Citizen watch that has lasted over 10 years. It is a rugged divers watch. It leads a hard life and it will not die. It also keeps perfect time. I expect this new one will also last a long time. The leather band was stiff and dry. I rubbed a little leather conditioner into it and it is soft and comfortable.

Good watch
The watch is much better than I thought. It is comfortable to wear as the leather band is not stiff but seems to be made out of better leather. The watch looks big but is the perfect size and it is surprisingly light and not bulky like the Casios I have. I bought it mainly for the chronometer and it is easy to use and resets perfect unlike a bulova I have. Solar charge is another benefit and the back is screw on so should be more water tight than backs that only use small screws to hold the back on. I am not sure what type of rechargeable batteries to use but it should be replaceable. I wish the glass was sapphire but for the cost it is ok. The watch is accurate also. This is the only 1/5 second solar chronograph I could find in this price range. The hands glow ok after exposing to light but the minute markers are not bright. I wish it had an LED light. If you need a solar chronometer then this is a good watch for the price.

Well rounded watch offering convenience with some trade-offs
Update: 9/7/2023 FYI, I stopped wearing this watch for a while and the battery drained. I charged it by laying it on a window sill for a day. However, I forgot it was there and it sat on the window sill for a month. The sun completely bleached the leather band. I'm not docking a star, still a great watch at a great price, but be careful if you do need to charge the battery that you don't forget and then have to buy a new band! Oops.[Original review below]I love the overall look and size of this watch. I have larger and smaller watches and this seems to hit the "Engineer in khakis" dress code pretty well. Not too dressy, not too casual. Not too big, not too small. At this price point, there are a few trade offs, but they feel acceptable to me.Pros:- Eco-drive - so convenient, never have to deal with a battery or winding reserve- Value - for the price of this watch, the feel and look are a great value that is comparable to other watches in the same price point without the convenience of Ecodrive.- Leather band - great color and texture- Size and Finish - A mix of "satin" and polished surfaces makes for a nice looking watch- Face - The blue is a unique color (there are some negatives here) and while the face does have a "printed" appearance, it also has the style and function of a chronometer, without "screaming" chronometer. The style is a little subdued. I also like having the date complication. While there are some things I don't like, overall, I wear this watch all the time. The following are noted so you can go in eyes wide open.Cons:- Chronometer - The start/stop and reset buttons on the chronometer are just a little too easy to push. If I decide to time something (example: commute home on a rainy day, time to walk somewhere) I find that often the timer has reset because I accidentally hit the button with my wrist during a casual movement of the wrist/arm.- Watchface - I like and dislike the blue face. Unlike black Eco-drive faces, the blue face is more transparent and you can clearly tell where the solar cell is in the watch. However, it is not ugly, just obvious and in a weird way I kind of like it now. However, if you are looking for a bold, high quality face with quality materials, this is not it. I have a Citizen Paradigm that does a much better job of combining Eco-drive with high quality face materials if that is your goal (albeit at a significantly higher price point.).- Chronometer - Reading the 1/5th chronometer indices can be a little tough due to the "printed" nature of the watchface. The chronometer is more of a novelty that I use since it is there and not a requirement in my book. With that in mind, 1/5th second is definitely not a requirement.

Overall - very nice
Bought it for my brother's birthday and he liked it very much. The watch looks far superior in real life, compared to all photos I've seen so far. The only thing which leaves to be desired is sapphire glass. I don't know how Citizen's mineral glass will hold. But otherwise, beautiful and very precise. Set it on the first day and still second to second correct.

Excellent quality
I’ve had this watch for about a year; my daily wear watch. Easy to read dial, easy to use chronograph, though I don’t use it for auto racing just timing events and activities like walking the dogs at the park. The band is good quality, holding up well.

Beautiful watch. Date is a little hard to see.
I bought this watch and wore it for five minutes and returned it. Really it’s a great watch, beautiful, I was bummed it didn’t work out. One thing I didn’t like was how it shows seconds, it’s on one of the complications rather than the normal seconds the. The seconds hand is for the chronograph. Maybe that’s normal I don’t know, this is my first watch. And I will say there was a really nice touch where you push the button to reset the chronograph and it smoothly completes the circle rather than snapping back.Other issue is the date, it’s sort of sunken into the face so it was hard to see unless the light is going in at the correct angle. Those were both dealbreakers for me but other than that it was a beautiful watch, I was bummed and I’m still looking for the right one.
