Scubapro Spectra Dry Snorkel

Quality snorkel. Cheaper than local dive shop. I paired this to a ScubaPro mask. Performed great. 6 days diving/ snorkeling in the Bahamas with zero issues.

Just what I wanted

Same issue as others. I was in a pool and used this snorkel 16 times and the float mechanism was blocking my breathing. Can't find anything on the internet anything about if or how it can be fixed. $65 down the drain. edited 1/31-I spoke to someone at Santa Barbara Aquatics who sold me the snorkel and after discussing it with her and trying to understand how the dry valve is supposed to work considered it's the angle of the snorkel relative to the mouth piece that caused the issue.I played with it as the snorkel is 2 pieces and adjusted it so that the angle of gravity for the valve keeps it open when my head is down in the water. I swam without any problem today. Ultimately-there is stuff on Youtube it seems for everything- but for discussing how dry snorkels work and troubleshooting issues like this are lacking. I also appreciate that someone else from SBA also got back to me.

Super nice snorkel def worth the few extra $$

Great snorkel I have used it on a few snorkeling trips now. The water stop works great, but takes a little getting used to. If water does get in the purge works well. It caused severe dry mouth first time using, but was ok after. Have used in pool as well as in ocean. Only irritating thing is snorkel does move around a lot and needs to be repositioned often. Mouthpiece is comfortable.

This snorkel meet my expectations and more. Very reliable. Went snorkeling in some pretty ruff waters. Worked extremely well. Easy to breathe. Looks great. Great value. Versatile.
