I love the Knight Ridge Empire series. The storyline does seem a little similar to Stella/Seb, the fact they hate each other (or say they do!) I'm in love with Theo, his character is what you would expect of an heir to the Mafia! But also has his own personality not many see. You can tell he likes Emmie from the start but is also trying to keep a distance for both of them.I'm struggling to get behind Emmie at the moment. She seems to be a typical 17yr old and immature, it definitely shows through in her character. I do hope she matures a bit as she frustrates me.Let's see what book 3 brings and I hope I get some answers to questions and it doesn't just try and be long winded!

I absolutely loved this book. What a way to end 2021 and start 2022. Every since we met Emmy I have wanted her book, and the chemistry and electricity blasting off between Emmy and Theo in Stella and Seb’s book was just everything.This book had me gripped and I could not put it down, and I didn’t want to put the book down. The fire and chemistry between the pair certainly continued in this book and just loved it, you could never predict what was going to happen between the pair and they both have just as good back to each other. I did not see that ending coming though, and the cliffhanger, omg, feb needs to hurry up so I can find out what happens.

Just wow. I knew this pair would fight every step of the way but heck I didn’t think it would be this explosive. It’s great to see the other characters still playing a part but gosh I need to know more about the fire between Theo and Emmie, totally looking forward to reading the next in the series.

Theo was my favourite from the beginning and this book has lived up to my expectations. Into the next one to find out some more secrets

Having read Seb and Stellas trilogy, I was looking forward to reading about their best friends Theo and Emmie as they had so much pent up chemistry from the start. So many secrets, twists and turns all leading up to an unbelievable cliffhanger, Theo is complicated and conflicted, he shouldn’t want her but he craves her. What are they hiding from each other? Can they trust each other? This book is not for the faint hearted, it’s passionate, complicated, full of love/ hate and very steamy. Explosive cliffhanger so book 5 here I come.
