Performs much better than expected
I purchased this AMZCHEF Single Induction Cooker 4 weeks ago. The digital control panel is intuitive and simple to use. This boils water quicker and more quietly than my electric kettle. Its incredibly quick bringing a small saucepan of porridge to the boil. I am really pleased with the product. Its neat, light and its easy to keep the glass surface spotlessly clean.

3 Month Review
I purchased this AMZCHEF Single Induction Cooker back in February 2024 and thought i will give a fair review now rather than out of the box. The digital control panel is intuitive and simple to use. This boils water quicker than my kettle from a cold start in my cast iron Le Creuset Pan. It has been used daily for over three months now.I use small pans and a large frying pan regularly and the heat distribution is just about on point but stirring a chilli con carne is a must to move around the pan for the optimum heatspot, on this particular large frying pan i use it does not cover the whole circumference of the base of the pan, but its no drama if your pan is good quality as the heat will distribute itself. The timer is handy and cuts all power off so no risk of over cooking. It simmers perfectly for me, and the lower heat around 500w (watt) is a nice slow cooking heat. You can also choose to use Celius if thats a more familiar heat measurement. It feels really well made and good quality. I wipe it down immediately after use and i can say that it has no pan burn marks on it, it still looks like new. Overall i am very impressed and hope to get a nice lifespan from it. It has been worth every penny.

Great cooker needs smaller temperature increments.
Great little cooker faster heat up times then the other conventional types. Very easy to program and I often take it camping due to less fire risk and lower energy consumption. The reason I deducted one star is to do with the temperature increments. You can set either 80c or a 100c with nothing in between. This causes an issue as 80c is to low for simmer so food don't cook in usual times and 100c is to hot that it boils the water out and over saucepan. To simmer around 90c to 95c would be more useful when doing vegetables. Apart from that issue it would be a perfect little cooker.

Can't believe how quick and powerful this is much cheaper than using gas worth every penny easy to use as well

An excellent purchase
When the induction hob of our (very expensive) Hotpoint cooker stopped working with a loud crack and bang, we found that as it was out of guarantee we had to pay £250 up front before someone from Hotpoint Service would even come out and look at it. We reasoned that for that money we might just as well buy a separate induction hob. What a master-stroke - double hob wasn’t just cheaper than the repair/call-out charge, it was also FAR BETTER, that Hotpoint hob.The touch “buttons” are both clear and responsive. The power levels are similarly very clear, and thankfully it’s not annoyingly sensitive to the slightest drip of surface water. It looks good on top of the now redundant Hotpoint hob (which, btw, makes a good, easy to clean work surface). Needless to say, it also works very well, and on full power boils up water very fast indeed. I HAVE NO HESITATION IN RECOMMENDING THIS.

Excellent induction hob for portable cooking
The media could not be loaded. Amazing induction cooker. I purchased this as I wanted to begin a new venture and create cooking videos but not have to use my hefty standing gas cooker in the videos. The design of this induction cooker is very sleek and looks appealing on camera. The build quality is great. I was skeptical about some of my pans as they were advertised as induction friendly but I wasn’t too sure. However after placing them on the hob and testing them, I can say that majority of my pans are suitable for this hob. The cooker allows things to be cooke at an extremely fast pace. Water was boiled in these pans in just a couple of minutes as shown in the video. The controls are easy to understand and use and it’s very lightweight. Overall, for the price I am really pleased and would recommend.

Can only boil but not fry
Was delivered rapidly, well packed and looked like a solid product. Boiling of water as fast as using a kettle and boiling eggs, noodles or rice worked very well without problems and the timer is convenient to use. Unfortunately, here the positive side ends. If you want to use it for frying or even preparing a scrambled egg you may look for something different. Heating up oil in a pan and adding some onions produced some initial sizzling that completely stopped after about 15 -20 seconds without showing an error message (setting at 1600 watts). After a minute or so another short burst of heating stopping after a few seconds. Actually, it took about 40 min to simply fry some onions. Contacted the technical service...they required a video. Sent a video and it took some time to come back to me telling me that my observation is "normal". The system is overheating and stops working until cooling down and they do not consider this as a problem. If I would like to use it for proper cooking I should select a different product. However, they offered a 15% reduction of the price. In other words, while I think there is a defect with the cooker, a replacement was not offered rather than a partial refund. I am not sure what the strategy of this company is, but although I hardly ever write a product review, I felt obliged to do it for this one. I had to send it back to Amazon and hope that a different brand will give me more joy to work with.

Well worth having.
I am pleased with the Induction Hob, and its better than the Rangemaster Cooker I’ve got, which is hardly used as I also have a Counter Convection Combi Oven.
