RV Awning Shade Screen with Zipper

Worth every penny. It's the same thing as the name brand (Carefree of Colorado), probably made by the same company. Quality is great, ease of use is great, value for money is great, installation is easy... Simply slide the top portion into the awning accessory track and zip on the bottom. When you retract the awning, simply unzip the bottom and the top portion rolls up with the awning! You can even use just the top part as a 'sun visor.' I stake down the bottom and fold it in a neat pile when I roll up the awning, and just zip it back on when I put the awning back out, see pics. This has really enhanced our outside living area as our main slide takes up a good portion of the under awning area. It's also good at blocking wind and rain. Provides good shade. I love this. Came with a nice carrying bag and (useless) plastic tent stakes, do yourself a favor and buy some steel tent stakes, the ones that look like long nails, and steel, not aluminum, they will bend. This size needs five stakes. I stake and bunged so the awning has some flex. Highly recommend.

Purchased this because we’re in a lot of sun. It works very well. I purchased the thicker material for the extra shade installation is very easy. It fits really nice. The zipper works very well. A rain protection as long as it’s not wind driven rain you’re OK. It does hold up under some wind very well and I noticed a big difference in the temperature under the awning with and without the shade big difference, and it’s easier to use for us. We’re seasonal so when we leave our campsite, we unzip it roll the bottom section onto the ground and put a little bit of a weight on it and the top section rolls right up into the awning so you don’t have to completely disassemble everything. I recommend this item.

This screen is perfect to help with direct sunlight. Sometimes our campsites don't have enough shade so this helps. Easy to install and the zipper function makes installing and removal simple.

Easy to install. Truly brings the temps down outside and inside your trailer. We live fulltime in our RV. We are in the Texas Hill Country and it gets very hot here.

what a waste of money the screen seems to be durable, but when you go to set it up the eyelet at the bottom that you’re supposed to anchor it with just fall out, it’s just junk. There’s no way to attach anything because you would rip the screen, if you use the little holes. Metal seal cylinders just came right out. I hadn’t even used it. Try putting them back in no luck.

I had no problem attaching it. It's simple yet well made. Makes it easier being in 2 pieces,the smaller upper section stays on and rolls up with the awning and no affect on the canopy or operation.
