Not very sturdy but it works
It seems that so many people are purchasing shelled nuts that nutcrackers are not that readily available, Glad I found this one online. It's not very sturdy, but it works well enough as I will not be using it that often. If you have a lot of nuts to crack, you may want to get one that is a bit more sturdy.

Works!
Unlike many nutcrackers in this style, this one actually works without shooting hazelnuts across the room. It will crack brazilnuts. It's a simple, not especially decorative, but utilitarian cracker. You can also use it to loosen the caps on those little bottles of tonic. If you just want to get your nuts cracked occasionally and your bottles opened and having something that fits easily in a drawer, this is great.

It's ok,I bought it cause it's simple.And looks just like the one we had.When I was a kid.But it's not quite as sturdy and well made.Its ok though,I was tired of using pliers to crack nuts.So it will due in a squeeze.
