GalaPet Hamster and Gerbil Cage Habitat with Toys (Pink)

Oh my word, my cat knocked the entire cage, mice and all, off of my desk. The mice were fine, the cage is fine, and I am fine now that that’s over with. Now, I keep the mice under my desk & away from certain doom in the form of my cat. This cage is wonderful especially when you consider the price. It’s adorable and was easy to assemble as well. Shipping was quick too, and overall there’s nothing I don’t like about this cute cage.

I love this cage as it features so much to do. The wheel, however was cheap. But, provided them with a bigger one! I have 6 dwarf hamster females in this cage. They were raised together. Perfect!!! Would recommend. The other downfall is no directions were provided. So, I had a friend that has had hamsters help.

I acquired 2 hamsters in a fancy 2-story furniture looking home, only to discover that they weren’t getting along. I needed another cage asap. I bought this cage and have really appreciated how easy it was to put together (I only used a few of the toy structures it comes with. I didn’t install all the levels and such). It is a little flimsy so I wouldn’t recommend it for a household with other pets that may consider the hamster a snack, however for households in which it has a safe place to sit, this cage is the best. I clean 3 hamster cages every Saturday and this one is the easiest to clean. I also can take the wheel out mid week to clean it off, and my hamster couldn’t be happier. (He was very happy to escape the other hamster, but I also think he enjoys his clean cage).

I really do like the cage, it’s bright and has many toys for my kids hamster. However the top part would attach tight. The corners would pop back up. Hopefully the hamster will not climb out, other than that my kids love it and so does their hamster named “hammy” or as I like to call her my grand baby lol
