Awesome car, but transmittor problem

The car is absolutely awesome.Only issue is that out of the box, the brand new transmitter did not want to turn the servo for steering. Throttle worked. Luckily, I had access to onother transmitter, so at least I could drive it the same day. Disappointed in new item not working.
