3M09065 Marine Block, 16.9 fl oz

I bought this, Oct 2014, and used it on my Harris floteboat pontoon seats which were covered top to bottom in mold and mildew staining. Due to other projects over the 2015 summer, I was not able to uncover and take my boat to water. I just uncovered it (Oct 2015) and was very very pleased. except for some dust, there was only a few spots that showed back up in the year. These spots, however, were nothing in comparison to 2014. NOTHING! The spots have been easy to deal with and I expect to open next summer (2016) and have no mold/mildew problems. BRAVO!! my situation was dire and this product has been a blessing.

It works but you have to lay it on thick...... When i first used it i put it on a thin coat and within 2 days in 85 degree and high humidity the mildew returned at about a 50% of original. When i removed the mildew again and reapplied using a very thick coat it worked very well. the mildew did not return for the remainder of the week. Now a week later there were some signs of mildew return but very weak. Easily removed with water alone.

I sprayed an outdoor couch cushion and several pillows months ago and there has been zero mildew. (I live in Florida where mildew is a very big problem because of the humidity). The entire bottle was used up by spraying the 1 couch and 5 pillows.

Mildew forms on my boat seats and i use the 3M mildew remover followed by a magic eraser. I spray this on and let it dry without wiping off. It leaves a very shiny surface that lasts about four weeks. After that, i have to clean them again. This product works ok, but doesnt last terribly long. However, not using it all means a weekly cleaning.

"I found mold growing on my leather seats in a Vintage Bimmer so I used the old household stuff and the mold came back. So far with the 3m its working and I don't see any mold or stains anywear. Left a flat surface on the black leather so be it. I live in a horribly humid climate so lets see as time passes how this product does. I figured buying a marine base would be stronger.

I would tell you how long one application lasts, but I don't know that yet. After using the 3M Marine Mildew Remover, I heeded other reviewer's recommendations and put on a thick coating of this. It has been more than a month of central Florida high humidity days/nights, and I still don't have any mildew on my tan convertible top. I was skeptical that any product would keep the top from mildewing, but I am a true believer in this stuff!

We have cream vinyl seats on our pontoon and over the summer we got this funky mildew that spread all over. I thought the boat was ruined, this stuff works wonders!!! I didn't even need a scrub brush. Just let it set on there. Not sure what it would do to different colored seating as it almost works like a bleach. LOVE IT, bought two more bottles because 1 wasn't enough to clean or 25' boat with how much mildew was on it.
