Love this tape, which I use a lot in screen printing. Adheres well, yet comes off completely clean - no glue is left on the surface.

I bought the 3m purple tape first, after about three days of letting the wall paint dry, i put the tape on to paint the moldings. This tape pulled off most of the new wall paint. call the paint store and they told me to wait a week and try again. I repainted the wall and a day after used the yellow frog tape and it worked awesome, no paint off the wall this time.

Had a painting project and needed to mask crown molding and base boards. This tape is the bomb - easy to apply, seals great and easy to remove!

Pretty good painting tape with minimal bleed. The value for money is great as it comes with a pretty large roll. The stickiness is sticky enough to not come off while you are painting, but also not sticky enough to peal any dry paint off the wall. Overall, it’s pretty solid tape.

We’ve used this yellow tape for many years in our Venetian Plaster contracting business. Very crisp lines are possible. Leaves no residue. Usually need to use in short strips to keep it close to edges as it is not crepe paper tape by intent. Please note if using it over paint, the low tack adhesive will not pull properly applied and cured paint off surfaces. That will happen though if the dust from sanding has not been well removed. So ignore those who say it pulls paint off. They may not have prepped correctly or known if it was done right before they used it.

Updating: I had no tape left so the case was unnecessary (1.88” width); also purchased the .94” tape and it came with a case—- hopefully they all do again soon. So far so good on the walls. I painted 2 days ago, applied tape yesterday, painting over tape today.

I used this to to mask the stripes for a pair of Helldivers costumes for my kids this year at Halloween. The yellow lines I airbrushed on, wound up very crisply defined. This tape is for delicate surfaces, so it's less likely to stick to paint and pull it off.

And with this width I can attack all my projects.

This is a premium tape. It's good for putting on young paint when you want to do the trim.
