Air moves past the filter. Poor construction.
Filter material is not glued to the cardboard frame of the filter. See Photo. Air can very easily escape around the edges of the filter. A small amount of glue can be seen, some effort was made, but it isn't attaching the white filter cloth. The cloth should be tight against the frame.

Should’ve listened to the 1-star reviews
There’s a reason this was half the price ID other similar items; and it’s not because it’s a bargain. Both of the filters I received are of much lesser quality than the original filters from Hunter.One of the reviews mentioned the lack of glue on the ends of the pleating and my filters had the same issue. Additionally, the cardboard frame around my filters was damaged on arrival, apparently due to the packaging the folders were jammed into before being boxed for shipping. The filter material is very thin and nearly transparent; no way it has any HEPA rating.With this one you truly get what you pay for.
