Terrible paper quality detracts from an otherwise great book.
This rating I am leaving is for the physical book, not the quality of the contents, which are excellent throughout. The Illustrations, examples and writing are all professionally done. The physical book, however is sub-par at best. Pearson has used the cheapest, thinnest, lowest quality paper possible, which is so thin that the graphics constantly show through on the reverse of pages, which ruins the readability. My 9 year old commented upon first glance, how thin the paper is. That's saying something. The hardcover is fine, and the binding appears to be okay.

Good on environmental concerns and introducing home landscaping principles
The title above are the strong points. Flaws: Some logic and organizational problems in the text and distracting typos in the sixth edition. Seems like a little more care in producing the book would easily have avoided the problems. Tech problem for first generation Kindle Fire readers.

This book is well written and an easy read with many diagrams to help fully grasp the concepts of landscape design.

Like new
I received the book in a timely manner. Although it was listed as a Used book, it appears to be new. It's in great shape and I save almost $40.
