Electrical components have become commoditised and, provided you know exactly what you're looking for, the online supply chain gives you access to stuff that is either priced at a ludicrous premium by physical retailers or simply not something they stock at all. My local electrical factor is a complete joke

I recently purchased the DUSKTEC Slim LED Transformer 12V 100W and I couldn't be happier! This is a fantastic product that works as advertised. It's important for me to start by saying that this is not suitable for people with no electrical DIY experience, as it requires some electrical work. Depending on your setup, you're likely going to end up soldering some wires together, as well as potentially splitting the power cable of your LED lights and then soldering them to the wires on this. You of course then need to use sufficient electrical tape and shrink wrap to try and minimise any water ingress. It works great as it is, there's not a huge amount to say to be honest because it's just a transformer! It's got an IP67 rating, which is extremely high and should mean that this can resist pretty much any adverse weather. I'd be very careful about using this in a swimming pool if you don't know what you're doing, as it could potentially not only damage the electricals in your home, but could very well be an electrocution hazard in the pool. Overall, I think if you're looking for a transformer like this, then this is a great choice for a great price! Would recommend!

This was ordered for use with the strip neon lights we purchased for the garden, and conservatory. They needed something different to be powered by and we researched it to this little gadget. When wired up and placed correctly it does exactly what its supposed to do. Feels weighty and good quality and would recommend.
