I used the float line today and just let me say this thing stays on the surface even if its all rolled up in a ball. Freaking fantastic.Once i got used to it i was diving and shooting fish. I did not even think of the line. I have the 80ft and it was way too long for where i was so wrapped some of it up and keep diving what i LOVE is the wrapped up part stayed above water and i could not feel the difference.

This product works great with the exception that it is too buoyant for my Riffe euro 55. The gun floats at 15’-12’ of water, so I cannot leave the gun in deeper water to mark spots. I should have ordered the 1/4” line.update:the 1/4" line is worthless and dangerous do not buy it unless you want to practice untangling it, potentially becoming entangled and/or drowning.This 3/8" float line works well for the price, but it is black and is too buoyant.

I used this line as a replacement for the line that came with my Palantic float. I rig my float directly to my gun and this is perfect for that application. Line reliably floats and resists snarling in kelp and rock. So far I'm 5 dives in with this line and it's holding up like a champ, can't recommend enough
