These knives are the best I’ve ever used in my 63 years of cooking. They are perfectly balanced and sharper than an ex wife’s tongue. No seriously, they are wicked sharp and cut through vegetables and meats effortlessly. Yes, they are expensive but they are a tool; a tool used every single day. You can spend just as much on a series of cheap knives needing replacement every few years, so what have you saved?Global knives were recommended by Anthony Bourdain so who am I to argue.My philosophy developed over decades of being an experienced human is: Buy the best first and you’ll save money in the long run.

This is a great knife. Replacement for one that I lost and this is even a bit better. Great feel in the hand, nice balance and a perfect flexible blade.

This has been another addition to the Global knives for my Husband. He is starting cooking school soon and we are hoping that he can use these knives. If not we enjoy them in our home anyway. The order was prompt and the packaging was very sound.Thank You!

This is really a great knife and was an excellent addition to my growing collection of globals. i opted for the heavyweight instead of the flexible because i thought the rigid blade would allow me to steer it better. I have a friend with the flexible so i have tried both and i prefer the heavier, non-flexible blade.

Best boning knife I own. I have Wusthofs but I like this brand better for most things.

Great knife

This would have been my second Global. I love my 8" chef's knife. I bought this to replace a 30-year old Wüsthof Grand Prix. I'm small and this knife was too heavy and the blade too thick for my preference. I also found it to be quite dull in places on the blade out of the box. I'm returning it.
