Beautiful color in teal green. I love a whistling tea kettle and this one works as well as much more expensive. Brands I've owned in the past. It I is very easy to keep clean. The lid fits well and is still easy to putll on and off. Heats up pretty fast even when filled up. I love this kettle even after using it every day for 18 months. Recommended.

The Amazon Basics Hot Water Tea Kettle has been a great addition to my kitchen. This is a great kettle. It holds a good amount of water (while I have never filled it to the maximum capacity, it holds at least 4 cups). The whistle is loud, but not too loud. The handle does get warm when the kettle boils. I usually use a pot holder to protect my hand.

Large capacity. I like the color as I don't have a lot of colors in my kitchen..

Love the color but it’s not going last. After a few weeks it’s got burn marks. The handle gets hotter than it really should, use a glove. Too late to return so I guess I’m using it until it burns thru.

Very cute kettle and is holding up well. I had to throw my last one away because it was getting rusty inside but so far this one still looks brand new.

This worked, but after 5 months the handle became detached at the end near the spout. It is not safe to use, due to the risk of scalding, when the remaining attachment fails. Beside the obvious product defect and even Amazon's legal liability potential (Mcdonald's coffee anyone?), The Amazon customer service chat line has been very inept and incompetent. I got suspended 3 times from the chat because the AMAZON REP TOOK TOO MUCH TIME WITHOUT DOING ANYTHING HELPFUL. The 3rd person finally said that I could have a refund but I was cut off again without any confirmation of how the refund would be processed. I phoned customer service and as I write this I've beeb asked to wait for 2 minutes, but have actually been waiting for over 19 minutes. After 21 minutes they never came back. I hung up and called again the new rep said that he would solve the problem. He did after about 30 minutes of holding and having to re re re re explain my issue and one last attempt to claim that I wasn't eligible for refund/replacement. Summing up: a defective product, Amazon Basics branded, sold by and shipped by Amazon, well over one hour of shoddy customer service, seemingly designed to make me "just go away" and to top it off, I had to supply the packing materials for the return of the broken item. Typical of customer service 2024. Not the usual service I've come to expect from AMAZON. NOW FOR ANOTHER UPDATE AND EXTENSION OF DISHONORABLE BUSINESS PRACTICE BY AMAZON. Finally received my refund-minus a restocking fee. Like they can restock a defective, broken, dangerous product. I doubt that I could have anticipated that the product would break on initial inspection, I’m going to be quicker to return products I have an inkling about from now on.

It was very nice at first month. We used it like everyday, but it went bad very early.
