2-1/2 in to 2-1/4 in Conversion Port

Read one of the reviews and mentioned it fit the dust port of the Hitachi miter saw and because of that review I bought this. I put it on my saw tightened down the clamp then took my shop vac with its 2.5 hose fitting and blam fit perfect. If you have a Hitach miter saw having problems finding the right adapter for your dust port your hunt is over, get this and your problem is solved.

Needed an adapter for my d735 planer. This fits perfect. Well made also. Took off a star due to cost plus shipping was $13. Bought due to nothing else working.

It fits on my Hitachi mitre saw and a couple of other tools thanks to the flexible end, and I connect it to my shop vac which has a 35mm bosch hose. It's great to not have to tape the hose to the few tools it didn't fit on to...

Coupled very well between Dewalt 735 Planer and my Craftsman shop vacuum having a 2-1/4 hose end. I like having the band clamp on the compliant end to keep things secure, even though it extended the fitting a bit from the machine.Very nice - highly recommended.

It allows me to connect other tools besides my table saw to mydust tollection system. IE: it does the job it was designed to do.
