I've purchased and used two of these units. One was to add a microphone input to a desktop PC whose mic input was questionable at best. We have had no issues at all in the last 6 months with it, very happy. The other unit was purchased for my personal home use, initially to use with a KVM switch and it worked great. I then got an upgraded switch and no longer had to use it. However, more recently I noticed my headphone jack in my desktop wasn't producing very high quality audio so I switched to using my iPod classic again since the quality is generally regarded as pretty good. Well, just for fun I plugged this unit back in and connected my TripleFi 10 in-ear headphones and ... it was like night and day! Sound quality blows away the regular audio out from my motherboard and sounds comparable to my iPod. Hearing the improved audio quality made me come back and write a review because I had been thinking of adding a DAC headphone amp for my desktop but after trying this out I don't think I need to. For around $15 this has been a great product and I've been very pleased with the value and quality.

Plugged it in, the computer saw it, started using it, and the sound played out of the speakers. What more could I ask? I dropped one star because the two outlets were not labeled (yes, I know that green is the speaker and red is for the microphone, but a person new to computers might not).

Easy as can be. Finding the correct RealTek audio on my Dell desktop did not solve my problem. Everything was Mono. It thought I was using headphones and not speakers. I wasted enough time and AI told me to buy this kind of device. So I did. I plugged it into an available USB port and plugged in my speakers. I did not need to do anything else. This solution is Plug and Play.

It's pretty great. My laptop's internal audio jack stopped working a couple years ago, so in order to use headphones I have to use an external USB audio adapter. I've used two brands - this one, and a Sabrent. I prefer this one for a number of reasons: 1. the long cord is a great perk. I like to sit back pretty far in my chair and there's less of a chance of me yanking out my headphones on accident, lol. The jack is also, uh, "tighter" than the sabrent. When I first tried to put in my headphones I was worried it was going to be too small, but all it needed was a little bit of force. This may seem like a downside but as a notorious headphone yanker this could prove to be a positive. 2. the sound quality is better with this one vs a sabrent. The sabrent tends to get static-y if it gets moved out of place. This one is more "stiff" and harder to slip out of the usb port. 3. The customer service is EXCELLENT. This is my main reason for posting this review tbh. My old one suddenly stopped working, and after I contacted the seller they offered a free replacement and got it shipped within a day or two. Even better, I got it two days earlier than expected! so I no longer have to use my static-y little sabrent, Special thanks to Jessica from customer service. someone ought to give her a raise. I won't lie and say this thing is perfect. My old one only lasted for 9 months, unfortunately, but I'm not mad about that at all since I got a brand new one for free. Overall, if you're torn between UGREEN and the Sabrent, I totally recommend the UGREEN.

Anyone trying to use an xlr microphone for voice chat on console needs this. Plug n play with any xlr microphone on consoles.

Does not work for my headset. It picks up the output as mic input, but not clearly, even though the output is only going through my headphones. My guess is hardware loopback. Completely unusable.

Zacząłem ostatnio używać starego laptopa Dell'a (8 gen Intel) jako drugiego źródła muzyki. Używam zewnętrznego wzmacniacza, dużych głośników i subwoofer'a. Wbudowany dźwięk jest dużo gorszy od nowszego stacjonarnego PC (13 gen Gigabyte Aorus Master). Brak głębokiego basu i wysokich tonów, bas taki "dudniący" i dźwięk jak z beczki metalowej. Słucham dużo Dub Reggae i Drum N Bass i nie dało się słuchać, subwoofer nie wiedział, co się dzieje :) Żadna korekcja nie pomagała, po prostu nie było nic poniżej 400Hz i wysokie też mocno obcięte. Nie chciałem czegoś drogiego, skomplikowanego i masywnego. Ten interfejs USB jest idealny. Rozpoznany w Windows 11 od razu, bez jakichkolwiek problemów, pomimo, że podłączony przez USB hub, jako "USB Audio Device". FxSound of razu też rozpoznał. Dźwięk jest bardzo dobry: głęboki, czysty bas, czyste, wyraźne wysokie tony i brak tego "efektu beczki" w środku pasma. Nie widzę różnicy pomiędzy tym i dźwiękiem ze stacjonarnego PC. Ugreen nie zawiódł znowu. Jeden z najlepszych i najbardziej ekonomicznie efektywnych "upgrades". Powoli staję się fanem tej firmy :)

The product quality is not superb it's superior ....Packing is stunning....Product quality is a one....It's best from cheap white colour sound card or like that which is available for 500 rs +-....it has no hamming sound or rattling noise....It's good for recording ..The white sound card has blinking red light which gives a rattling noise in recording....It's best for music lover like me...Go for it..Not overpriced it perfect sound card for a perfect price
