On one hand, it's got forever chemicals in it. On the other hand, it works so well to lubricate and/or protect almost anything you can imagine, and the three pack of 14 oz cans is such a bargain! It's both cheaper and better than WD40 (10 oz) specialist dry lube, IMO. It has (hexagonal) boron nitride in it which is a high temperature lubricant, in addition to teflon, and NO silicone. You can use it on saw blades, drill bits, window tracks, gaskets, "tight tolerance metal on metal," wood, etc., etc. (See the product description.) I just made a wooden jig for my track saw and sprayed some on it, and it helped!

I purchased this Dupont non-stick spray after two seasons of scraping the deck and leaving clumps of grass in the yard with my Toro Recycler mower. I pressure washed the blade and underneath the mower deck and let it dry before application. Next mower I buy I will treat before first use but that’s for another day (had I only knew then what I know now) After the deck dried I applied two liberal coats of this teflon spray letting it dry between coats. I have to say; I AM AMAZED!!! Not one blade of grass stuck, clumps of grass usually littering the yard were almost non-existent and I swear it seemed like I used 1/2 of the gas I normally do. I attribute all these positives to the Dupont spray that allowed proper air flow for the mulching feature, no bogging down and no clumps due to the slickness of the spray and lack of friction on the mower parts. If you haven’t guessed yet I kinda like this product. I mowed my approx 10,000 sq ft yard with no sticking of any grass clipping whatsoever. I look forward to seeing how long this stuff lasts before I have to re-apply. Happy mowing!

Exactly as described, dry lube. I used on the zippers on my jeep soft top. Doesn't attract dirt.

I’m not sure how good it is for other uses but used it on a squeaky front door hinge and it seemed to work after removing all pins, cleaning, spraying, letting dry and reinstalling. Less than a month later it’s squeaking again which is disappointing.
