I tried a different case before I tried this one. I LOVE this one so much better. Pros: - Stand can be used with the case - Removable magnetic cover for the screen - Joy cons are still removable Cons: - Joy cons aren't protected once removed - Needs to be removed for the docking station I like this case a lot. I can be rough on electronics. This helps keep my Switch safe if I accidentally drop it. I can easily toss it in my purse without worry of scratches on the Switch. I take it in the car a lot for use while waiting for my teen to get out of school with no fears on messing up the Switch. On the way to and from school my teen often plays with it. So far there have been no complaints from them about the case. The screen cover is magnetic and kind of "snaps" in place on the back. The front has magnets at the base of the front that keep the cover from flopping around when it is doing it's job of protecting the screen. Could the screen cover potentially pop off with a hard enough fall? It's possible but it is MUCH better than the risk to the screen without anything. The entire case feels comfortable in my hands. It's not overly bulky. I did test it in the docking station and it won't work. There is a small slot on the back that is blocked that won't allow it to fully seat properly. To me that's a minor issue. The case is easily removed if you want to use the dock.

I love this case. It fits my OLED Switch perfectly and the shape is comfortable to hold, especially behind the controllers. I love that the front protects the screen, but I can easily take it off if it gets in the way when I’m playing. It isn’t too annoying if I just flip the cover back and keep it connected. The magnet is strong enough that the cover doesn’t fall off by itself. When I put it back on, the magnet ensures the cover is aligned perfectly with the screen and joysticks. I love the purple galaxy design. I’ve had this case for a few months now and haven’t had any problems. I’m able to throw it into a bag without worrying about my Switch getting damaged. I’ve even taken it with me on a couple of road trips this summer.

I LOVE this switch case. So much easier to hold while I’m playing my game. I love that you can take off the top cover and place it back on when you’re done playing. Definitely recommend this case. It’s also very pretty !

Got for my wife's switch and she loves it. WILL NOT fit original switch though. Joycons are able to be removed without removing the entire case. The flip protects the front face with raised covers for the analog sticks. Has cutout for stand to be used with case on. The magnetic strip keeps the flip from easily falling off. Case also has ergonomic grips for better comfortability while using switch handheld and can be easily taken off and put on. Soft leather-like material makes it easier to grip. Durability is ok. The case doesn't cover the top of the joycons, since they can be removed while in the case. The flip also can come off sometimes, if dropped. Other than that, it's still a great product

I debated so much whether to get a case that was dockable or not. Every other case that was dockable covered up the switch’s kickstand, but this one didn’t. I also liked how this one came with a cover. So I took a chance, and it absolutely paid off. It is SO easy to take on and off so have no worries. The material has a stiff rubber texture that is flexible, making it easy. The cover is just as easy to magnet on and off the case. The grip on the back of the case makes holding the switch so much more comfortable. I have not regrets and wish I got this much sooner.

This is just a beautiful case...I love it and it for over my skin too without tears. I love it

I wish there were more reviews that mentioned this does not fit in the dock without removing the whole cover. Its such a slight impedence too (maybe 1/2" on each side) that a simple design tweak could fix it. I love this thing though! The feel of the rounded grips is very comfortable for my smaller hands. The whole case stays firmly attched when i remove the joy cons, unlike others I've bought before. I LOVE the magnetic cover that is removable, AND (pleasant surprise) another thing I didn't see mentioned the cover does actaully bend backwards and stays attached while playing! I was expecting everytime i opened it to have to completely remove the cover, set it aside, and ultimately lose it within the first week. That is not the case at all (pun totally intended). The whole thing is a tad bulky and bit heavy but you do get corner to corner, snug fit, protection which is a good trade off for me. Just still bummed the reviews didn't mention the dock issue more often without having to "ctrl+f" for it. But, of course my luck, I just saw it today that the first entry in the 'Question' section says it doesn't fit the dock SMH.

Was sceptical at first to get the softshell case. Turns out it actually fits on the switch OLED. The magnetic cover securely protects the joysticks from taking any dust or damage. Honestly with the price. Hope more designs and colors come out for the cover. Or have a multi pack with swappable covers.
