what is inside that is all natural and heats for that long? and what temperature do they stay at?

Contents are iron powder, water, salt, activated charcoal and vermiculite. The package also says the average temp is 126-144f. I put it inside of a sock so there is a buffer between when they want to snuggle it. The package says if they open it and eat the contents it won't hurt them, though I haven't experienced this scenario so I have to take their word for it.

How many do yoy get? The current price is almost $14.

You can get three eight hour nights out of a packet if you put the packet into a ziplock and squeeze the air out of the ziplock each morning. You will need as many as you think it will take for your pup to sleep comfortably.
