Excellent Rod
I bought the 7’4” Heavy for lily pads and punching heavy mats. Best rod I have and paired witha Lews tournament MP 20lb carbon fiber drag for the heavy lifting

Lightweight & very nice quality
UPDATE August 2019 My husband caught a 2lb bass & the rod snapped at the 5th eyelet. So so so disappointed.April 2018 I purchased this as a gift for my husband based on another review that it was really lightweight. I didn't realize this is a bait caster vs a spinning rod...my husband was a spinner dude. Oops! However he has learned how to use this rod & LOVEs it, its his favorite rod now. #bestgiftever

Not a Spinning Rod
The rod is titled as a casting rod. I didn't catch that. I am still not sure if that means it is a bait caster rod, but it makes sense that it is what it means. The description though says it is a spinning rod. I was looking for a rod that would match the reel I just purchased - Also a Lew's. Anyways, It looks like I can get by with this rod with a spinning reel but it is not designed for a spinning reel.

Bad shipping by Amazon.
Nothing to fault and this rod and I really like the Winn grips.I got the heavy rod and it seems much softer compared to med heavy on a strong croix. It's not a complain, just an observation.And I must say, Amazon's packaging was really bad!!! The cupboard tube arrived bend at the blank!
