Solar Defense Tinted Moisturizer with Sunscreen, SPF 30 Face Antioxidant 1.7 Ounce

So, I tried a million tinted sunscreens. Some better than others but never the perfect one. Either they have are not tinted enough or they are too shiny or they break me out. I'm in my late 50s and foundation is not what it used to me on my aging skin. This was fantastic from my first try. For the people mentioning it is not tinted; it comes out white but turns to a nice tint once rubbed. It doesn't have a lot of color but the bit of coverage it provides, the blurring of imperfections is perfect. It stays tacky for a while but does eventually dry. My only wish is that it was water resistant as well. I will update if I find any breakouts or if it doesn't wear well through the day. It is pricey so it will have to really deliver.

I will admit to being influenced to purchase this. Lol! A creator I follow on social media posted about this product after going on a beach vacation and using it as the primary sunscreen on her face with no sunburn. I was looking for a lightweight, full coverage sunscreen for daily use and decided to give this a try. The shade match on it is amazing and, even though it’s a more sheer coverage, I can get away with using it in place of a bb cream as a foundation. And I’ve never burned when using it! One of the other reasons I bought it is that it’s a small, woman owned company. I was impressed with them because when they saw the creator’s video (which was not a sponsored ad, btw…she just really liked the product), they reached out to her to thank her and let her know they had made a contribution to a fundraising effort she was supporting (can’t remember for what as this was more than a year ago, but she had a goal to raise a million dollars). I thought that showed great character and social responsibility on the part of the company.

I’ve been using Hydropeptide for several years now in place of my makeup foundation. It’s light and evens out my skin tone with the added benefit of sun protection. I recommend this product. It goes on smooth. The white cream changes to a light color as it is applied. (Found that it goes on more smoothly when I use a primer) I’ve never had an issue with the pump dispenser until now—this particular tube requires multiple pumps in order to get the product out. Almost as if there’s air in the tube.

A friend was wearing the tinted version, I asked her what it was, and I’ve been buying it ever since. So glowy, silky and beautiful. Great for mature skin (not sparkly - just glowy.) I would buy this is tubs if I could. Some tidbits: Finish: glowy, warm - face looks hydrated all day Coverage: thin-to-none. I wear this with under eye concealer Price: expensive but worth it You won’t regret this purchase!
