Bought this steamer for my boyfriends house and was so envious, I ordered another one for myself! The silicone feet are so very thoughtful.

Iwoykd love to give a 4.5 starts, but it's not possible, so I am giving 4. The product is really good, I am using it to prepare steamed vegetables to my baby daughter.First off, I wanna clarify it has worked well with normal usage. But one time, I left it on the stove and forgot. And of course the water was all evaporated and all that, burnt. But those legs, the little plastic or silicone leg covers that prevent scratching the pot, well it melted and got permanently stuck to the pot.And there was even a tiny screw that was stuck to the pot. the melted later hardened green thing stuck the screw to the pot. It would be maybe a little small if I was preparing something to the whole family, but just her meals is great. I liked thT it comes with a plastic thing to pull it when it's ready however the green plastic on the bottom can melt if you leave it for a long time in contact with the hight temperature (on the pot).

Needed a replacement steamer and stumbled on this Consevisen Vegetable Steamer. Long story short..it works great, seems very well made, MAYBE the metal leaves are just a TAD thinner than much more expensive ones, but work just fine .The Handle works well took less than a minute to attach with included screwdriver. The price was FANTASTIC...However bought this before any possible tariffs hit. I'm ALL for buy USA made, but I can't deny this Made in China steamer was a MAJOR bargain...made well enough for it's purpose, and very happy I bought it, works very well.

... but nice once it's together. Phillps screwdriver and extra screws are provided and assembly was easy. The small size is perfect for steaming six large eggs (Kenji's method), and the whole thing fits comfortably in a 3-quart pot. The handle disappears so the pot's lid can be placed. The silicone feet won't scratch nonstick, if that's important to you. I've used the steamer only once and it worked well.

so far so good it does exactly what I needed to do steam my vegetables in a pot hold them above the water. I do love the handle so you don’t burn yourself. I would recommend this product.

I would love to review this steamer with a better rating but the thing annoys me EVERY time I use it. Once in place it’s great and does what it’s designed for. The one problem I have is one of the three feet doesn’t stay open! Two seem to do as they are intended and have some resistance to hold them open or shut. The third swings freely which makes it very challenging to get into position in a pot. Mine could be a manufacturing fluke and I realize it seems a trivial complaint but it really does annoy me and my wife with every use to the point we’ve almost tossed it just to avoid the frustration. I love the design and the silicone foot covers I like they are wide unlike other steamers I have the have straight poles as legs. But the floppy foot just ruins the device.
