The efficacy of this type of purchase is difficult to gauge in a short time. Humans are notoriously deficient in both potassium and now iodine. Modern cooks are leaning towards sea salt and Himalayan salts for cooking which are not iodine enriched. This helps solve their problem by reducing thyroid issues. There are other reasons to have in on hand. I am not a fan of thinking about the potential use of nuclear weapons but this will serve a dual purpose if that happens. Iodine is absorbed into the body in place of radiation and will help your thyroid reject radiation absorption by replacing it with neutral iodine. Your thyroid gland is very susceptible to radiation damage and cancers caused from it.

Great value and came fast and well packaged. Just what I was looking for.

I'm concerned about the seals on the two bottles. One has the usual circle seal under the lid but, one side was not glued, not totally sealed. The other bottle had some cotton in the bottle no real seal. Not sure where to get the contents tested..or risk it if the time comes.. Not sure on returning them..
