I’m glad I looked into shades on Amazon! Had way faster shipping than those blind companies. And also had better deals and prices! The shades themselves are great quality. They were made and shipped from China, but didn’t take long to get to my home in the USA. I got black ones for my bay windows in living room and kitchen. They are 5% and have great coverage. They diffuse the light and sunlight(I get evening sun in the living room/kitchen on west side) to wear it lets light in but the sun isn’t blasting me in the face! I measured my windows and the company actually emailed and messaged me on Amazon about suggesting measurements. I did measure again to double check and said my original measurements were good enough. The ones they suggested were too big. So it was great they were thorough and stayed in touch during figuring out the right measurements. They did have a smidge smaller on a couple but that worked out to adjust for the valance cassette. I was glad I got a free valance upgrade as well. I bought 7 at once so I was able to take advantage of the deals they had. The installation was easy. It does come with instructions but my husband was able to figure it out without looking. And he used his own screws although it comes with screws and anchors. They look very fancy with the valance and are good quality. I got the stainless steel chain option and is easy to pull to move the shade up and down. A plus, as others have stated, they can diffuse light inside the home and have some privacy, looking in from outside. So we have them down and keep our curtains open for now until winter. I do like the black also and glad I got that color. And it doesn’t make the oom too dark when all are down. I will definitely order more for the rest of our windows.

Excellent quality blind, beautiful and very functional. We bought a custom made 93x64, black (5% open). Delivery was fast. Great company. It was easy and quick to install. Excellent light filtering capacity with no obstruction to our beautiful view. In addition it lowers the temperature of the room several degrees; we live in Arizona, so this is a big deal for us. Highly recommended!

Great product! We hung these in some sections in our gazebo. Helps the area not be so sunny & hot. They work really well. Easy to use. Just pull on chain to lower. It’s very simple. Definitely helps block the sun. The value for the money is an absolute plus. Great pricing.

I have a bay window in the eating area of my kitchen and it has a southern exposure. The windows are dual pane and while they don't allow huge amounts of summer heat to enter the house they allow more than they used to due to the rising temperatures here in the San Joaquin Valley. I decided to get a shade to help keep some of the heat at bay while still providing light to filter through. I spent a great deal of time looking at shades here on Amazon and had several in my cart when I came upon this one. It featured the transparency I wanted, came in a color I really liked, and it came in just the right size for my window frame. The vast majority of the reviews were 5 stars and frankly the price was really good so I took a chance and ordered it. I am a 70+ year old woman who has had back surgery and I installed it in less than 30 minutes. I am handy but I am still surprised that people had trouble with the installation. The only thing that gave me trouble was figuring out how to actually put the shade into the installed brackets by myself as it was more than 5 feet long. A tower of boxes set on the window sill allowed me to set the shade down after I put the chain pull end in place so that I could move the ladder in order to snap the remaining end in place. An extra pair of hands would have been helpful. This would not have been an issue with a shorter width. Once the shade was put into the brackets I cut the tapes holding the roll in place and used the chain to lower it. Then used the chain to raise it. I installed the bracket to hold the chain in place to keep my cats from playing with it. I installed this shade using the brackets in the ceiling mode as that was what worked for my window. I would suggest to anyone installing one of these shades to take the time to plan the installation before you pick up your drill. Know where the shade is going to go and that it is going to fit where you want to put it. Put the shade on the floor and put the ends and the brackets on and measure the assembled width. I was doing an inside the frame installation where the brackets were mounted to the upper "ceiling" corners of the wooden window frame so that is where I measured and I knew before I started that the shade would fit properly. And fit it did! While the instructions that come with the shade are not the best they are good enough to get the job done. They rely mostly on pictures. I think this shade is well made and I am really happy with it. The brackets are well made, have no sharp edges and the slots allow for very minor adjustments in order to get the distance between them just right. I would definitely buy more of them if needed for other windows.

We ordered 4 roller shades. The quality seems good, and they were easy enough to install, despite instructions that were not terribly clear. The hardware provided was rather haphazard: screw and anchor sizes were not uniform from package to package. All 4 of the plastic box/packages had been damaged- whether before or during shipping, I don’t know-with pieces rolling around in the shipping box. Fortunately, we were able to recover all the pieces we needed rather than have to take the time for a return. The measurement instructions given in the listing were very helpful for an accurate fit; I would recommend checking carefully. Overall, after some initial frustration, we are satisfied so far with our shades.

Seriously love these shades. I bought them for our home and have now bought them for the office and our cottage. Easy to install and work great. They filter the light just right to keep the house cooler and reduce the sun damage on our floors and furniture. Good quality, for a great price.

These blinds truly exceeded all expectations! Not only are they extremely well made, but they are also so elegant - adding a huge touch of class to my living room. What I love the most about them is that they REALLY block the glare of the sun yet I can see right through them. I had tried samples from other vendors (not on Amazon; i.e., professional window treatment installers) and their blinds did nothing for the sun's glare. As I live in Arizona and in a house with many, many windows, I really needed help in keeping the sun from blinding me during sunrise and sundown. All other blinds fell so short, but these blinds are PERFECT!!! They block the glare so much that I can stare straight into the sun for minutes at a time without even squinting - amazing!!!! A quick note on the seller...There was a little hiccup with the delivery of one of the blinds (I ordered 9 total) and the seller did not hesitate to remake the blind and have it sent to my house. They not only solved the hiccup, but they also kept me informed every step of the way. I would buy from them again and again and again. They truly are as good as their products - meaning, they are OUTSTANDING! If you are serious about getting your home the best blinds money can buy, please consider these. The shade arrived ready to install. It was simple and installed rather easily. I love the blocking factor regarding people not being able to see in and me being able to see out. I also love how in the morning sun hits the blind iluminate the whole room with a beige glow. As the sun rises the glow softens and changes to a beautful view outside.
