Easy to download videos & screen shots to share with friends and family.One downside is that for us it needs frequent re-logins to connect, however the videos are collected whether we are logged in or not.Overall it’s cute, sturdy, and fun. So fun we bought another!In addition, we purchased the optional "perch" from BirdDock or use when the hummingbirds are gone!

The media could not be loaded. I purchased this last summer (2022) based off of a friends recommendation and I'm so happy I did. It's absolutely ADORABLE. Watching the birds at the feeder, live when I'm at work is so much fun. There's also a spot in the app where it captures screenshots and they're so cute to look at, especially the ones that have "action" shots of birds flying mid-air. The picture quality is amazing. I've attached pictures when it's been sunny and overcast. Video quality is just as good too.I found the set up to be easy and using the app is as well. I would say my battery charge lasts about 6-10 days depending on how often I'm in and out of the app watching the live views. I had some issues with it going offline and usually it corrects itself after a few hours. Sometimes I've had to troubleshoot and restart my router or turn the device off and back on. It's positioned on the opposite side of my house away from my router, so that could be causing an issue. Maybe having a WiFi extender would help, but usually it stays connected without major issues. Behind the battery compartment is the spot for an SD card, mine came with one and I've only had to clear its cache once because it became full and wasn't saving screenshots.Contacting customer service to help with troubleshooting when I needed to was very easy and they were always responsive and helpful. It will take 24 hours for a response, but they always replied.

This worked for about a week, the battery lasts maybe a day. Finally, the camera stopped working all together, and the battery stopped charging. Replaced the battery and got it charged up but it would no longer connect. Replaced the camera and still it will not connect. I tried to get support but no one answers the phone number. I have left voicemails and emails and sent via their support email and nobody every answers. Beware this company has no customer support.

We got this as a package with the hummingbird feeder and solar charger package. We have two different brands of smartAI feeders. I find the Netvue software is a lot better. The main difference between this one and the “lite”. version is that this has the smartAI built right into the camera. The less expensive Netvue smart bird feeder requires a subscription to identify birds. The quality of the camera and the feeder itself is great and it’s understandable that it gets the top reviews.With that if you want your camera to just focus on birds and not alert you on every motion, it will cost you a intell-AI subscription. But if it doesn’t bother you, it does serve as another security camera and it does work with Google Home. Don’t get me wrong, when the camera does see a bird in the feeder, it’s spot on and it alerts your phone or iPad and Apple Watch lol. It does not come with a SD card but your footage is kept for one week for free on Netvue cloud. It’s a revolving thing, example you spot a bird today, you’ll only have until next week to download unless you subscribe or get a sd card.

I purchased this birdfeeder for my wife and I so we could watch the birds. The purchase was based on price and reviews. Overall, this is a good smart birdfeeder. Mounting it on the 4x4 post we use for other feeders, was easy. I purchased the solar cell to keep the battery charged which was a good move. As with any birdfeeder, it takes the birds time to accept it. We now have Cardinals that are giving us lots of viewing fun.Positives:1. Camera Clarity: The camera picture and video quality is excellent.2. The feeder is well built and easy to refill with seed.3. The app is easy to use.Needs Improvement:1. Even though we placed the feeder in a location with strong WiFi signal, the camera takes some time to wake up.2. It would be nice if the feeder came in different colors.3. The buttons to turn sound on/off and shrink the screen are placed in the bottom left and right corners (expanded screen mode) on my phone and are hard for the app to recognize that I want to change the function. It would be nice if they could be moved so they aren't at the very edge of my smartphone touchscreen.Observation:The bird seed we normally purchase does not freely slow into the feed cup. I need to frequently use my finger to free up the seed. The seed inside the feeder is dry (at least until it enters the cup). The seed we do use, contains sunflower seeds. Whether this is the reason why this happens, I'm not certain at this point. My plan is purchase a bag of bird seed without large seeds to see if this changes this. I will update my review with my results.Overall, we are very happy with this feeder. It is worth considering based on price alone.

It’s everything you’d expect when purchasing. It has a good quality camera and is easy to setup and install anywhere. The solar panels are also very easy to setup and seem to work fine. It’s cool to see the hummingbirds use it and you can take pictures or videos. 8-10

I am an avid bird watcher and bought this product so I can watch the bird from inside close up. This was the perfect gift for myself! The pictures it takes are high quality. I post some in my bird watcher group online and they have been amazed at the quality of the pictures. It even identifies the birds for you after a picture is taken. I also bought the hummingbird feeder adapter and have that attached for the spring. I am now enjoying hummingbird pictures, some even in mid-flight. I had a hard time doing that with my personal camera and this smart bird feeder does it for m the battery lasts a long time before it needed charging and best of all, this was much less expensive than other brands.
