Wow wow wow.!!! The reputation speaks for itself. Very very sharp. Clean and makes food prep like a dream. Slices so thin and clean. I have never experienced cutting up veggies doe soup like this. Fast and awesome. The same way with fruit salad. Cut through orange like it was butter. Nice hold and feel while paring. Great look on the counter top. Pricy but well worth every penny. Bucket list item!! Made it. Now they are mine. I will have to j Claude them in my will.

Love the design of these knives, plus the box/holder for self-sharpening. I did have one defective steak knife, with a burr on the tip, but the support line helped me out right away and sent me a replacement. I'm happy with them.

Garbage. Unbelievably poor quality. We’ve owned Henckels for decades. I have four boys, so the ones we had have been heavily abused being used for all kinds of things they shouldn’t. I finally figured we ought to replace them as they were pretty beat up. We ordered this mid-range set. We took them out to wash them first. My husband noticed they were half the width of our original set. When I went to cut a quiche with one, the blade flexed left and right. If this is how they cut something soft, how could they stand up to anything of real substance. So back they went. Henckels has really gone downhill. They used to be high quality, but this set was so thin as to be useless. I don’t understand all these positive reviews unless all these people never had Henckels before to know how much these suck in comparison.

Works pretty well, serviceable set. Not the sharpest set but you get what you pay for. Definitely better than a budget set. I could see myself using these for 5-10yrs

We bought these knives because I have had Henckles before and liked them. One thing I liked was that they were supposedly "dishwasher safe" even though the manufacturer recommended hand washing. Well, let's just say that they rusted when I washed them by hand and when I washed them by dishwasher. I know that they are not the most expensive knives in the world, but when one is paying over $150 for knives that are supposedly dishwasher safe, they should not rust....especially within days of purchas.
