Exactly what I needed for my textbook. Perfect for marking pages, adding notes, and highlighting key words and definitions. I just got it last week and I'm about to order more! The only downside is if you remove a sticky note it leaves behind a little sticky residue, which can make the pages stick together (loosely), it doesn't transfer ink between pages or anything so not a big deal.

I have used the colored notes before, and found I mostly preferred the line highliters, as the colored transparent notes were a bit much usually.This time I decided to try the clear notes, and ran into the same problem others have reported, with the clear notes not retaining highlighting marks very well. Mine were disappearing overnight.So I decided to try the Sharpie permanent ultrafine pen markers on the clear notes. They work great. They can be used to underline and/highlight. Probably any brand of permanent marker pens would do the same. They dry in quickly, and seem to stay on. Problem seems to be solved!I only wish the notes were more transparent than they are, they have a light frosty appearance.

Of the 18 different pens I tried only the 2 sharpie products didn’t smear which is super disappointing, but they seem cool and as long as you have pens that aren’t going to smear seem to work well.

I purchased these for annotations in books and was so excited to find this pack! I get it and the clear sheets are so plastic-y and almost impossible to write clearly on. When you can find a pen that works, it smears *terribly* and would damage my book pages if I closed it. Disappointed and back to the drawing board.

So I thought these were pretty good but then I left the sticky note stuck on a page in a book, later I wanted to adjust it and all the glue had transferred to the page. It completely ruins my book!!!!
