This is my second time purchase. I first bought this shirt 2-3 years ago. I was diagnosed with positional sleep apnea - only happens if I am sleeping on my back. I tried this as a much simpler option to a CPAP machine. It works great for keeping me from sleeping on my back - much easier than dealing with a CPAP machine, and MUCH more convenient for travel, which I do a lot of. And the quality is absolutely top notch. My original ones are still in perfect condition. The only reason I bought again is I have gotten a little big for the large size that I first bought, so decided to get a couple of X-large,

I am a patient of the NY Cornell Sleep Center. My sleep doctor looked at me funny when I told her I had the tshirt with a tennis ball in the back pocket. She told me that I sleep on my back and that makes me snore and have apnea. I disagreed and knew I couldn't sleep on my back because I find it horribly uncomfortable. Plus I bought the t-shirt and a tennis ball to prove to her I didn't sleep on my back. She wanted me to come back to have yet another sleep study. My other doctors agreed with me and I no longer see her. I gave my boyfriend the tshirt because he does sleep on his back and snore. Problem solved!

The t shirt is very well made and would probably really help with sleep apnea. For me though it was too warm, and held the tennis ball too tightly against my back. I couldn't sleep with it on. It may work well for others though.

First. I saw some reviews saying this ran small and the quality was poor. I found the opposite of that to be true. I'm 5'8" 164lbs, I wear medium to large but usually medium. I ordered this in a medium and to me it is roomier than most of my medium size shirts. It is made of very soft cotton and feels thick to me. Now to speak to the effectiveness. I've been using this for a several weeks now I'm finally getting more comfortable sleeping on my side. It definitely prevents you from sleeping on your back. In the time I've been using this shirt I think my wife has woken me up 2 or 3 times total to stop me from snoring. Prior to that she would wake me up 2-4 times a night, so I would say it has made a huge improvement. Now I do wake up on my own sometimes when I attempt to roll onto to my back but that is getting better every night. I will keep using it and expect my body to keep adjusting to it. It does what it says it does and seems to be good quality so I give it 5 stars.

Didn't work for me but I could see it helping some people.I found that I bent my back over the ball so my head tilted back which made my snoring worse. That made me realize that i needed to tilt my head forward and so I bought a wedge pillow and that stopped my snoring.

I feel like over the years I have tried so many different “gimmicks” which promote the ability to stop snoring. Well...for MY personal sleeping habits/position, this product is no “gimmick”...it actually works extremely well for me!!!! I track my sleeping through an app called “snore lab” which is customizable , for me, through a number of different variables. Once the app is on, it records throughout the night. After buying my first sleep shirt...I noticed on the very first night that my snoring was highly minimized. I woke up much more alert and rested! And it’s been that way ever since! To make a long story short...there is NO WAY I could sleep without it! After about a year, I decided to check the snore lab app once again since I was having issues sleeping. I found that I was snoring more then usual. I also realized that over time with daily use of the shirt, it seems a bit stretched out, and the tennis ball (2) wouldn’t stay centered in my back. So I decided to order another shirt, but this time a size smaller to help reposition, and better keep the tennis ball in place. MAGIC!!!!! Once again, the shirt performed perfectly. I do snore a little bit in the first hour of every night...but it’s VERY minor!! But without this shirt, it can easily be an all night thing for me...UGH!! This product may not work for everyone, but for $20.00...it was worth a try...and as a result, I’m a life long customer! Thanks for all you guys do!! There is no information on the fabric of the shirt, however, it seems good. I purchased two shirts in size medium, and washed one in cold water and did a tumble dry on low. The shirt shrank in length by 3 inches. It shrank an inch in each sleeve, and close to an inch in width.I wore it for the first time last night with two tennis balls. I will continue to see how this works for me.
