It helps color correction. Easy to use.
It's really useful for me when I'm shooting with my Sony camera. It's great for getting the colors in photos just right, and it's really handy.

Helpful for reluctant editors
I’m somewhat new to photography and hate editing. This is amazing to get a test shot to make editing a lot faster

Does what I need it to do
Shooting miniatures and figures in a tabletop studio can result in some color shift due to reflected colors from the background or even the item being photographed. This card gives me white balance and color checks. I cannot speak to its absolute accuracy, but visually it is consistent with the advertised values. Once I get the images into Photoshop, I use the values to give consistent color rendition. (See the Web for hundreds of tutorials on how to do this.) It is quick , easy and gives superior results. It ir even a simple white card can really increase your photography game in these situations. The second card can be taken on the road for when you are dealing with a lighting situation where you have LED, fluorescent and tungsten lights and need help deciding what to use for the white balance. (That was me at the IX Center during a prior Cleveland Auto Show.) You still might not be able to reach perfection, but you can examine the trades.

Cheaply made but good enough
There are 2 cards in the pack which is nice. This card is on pretty lightweight stock that is thinner than a postcard. So, don't expect great durability but at this price it's good enough. I have a full sized MacBeth color chart that uses earth pigments that are superb color matches. This card is not in that league but it should help you to get consistency and reliability in your photos. I recommend that you carry this with you and take a shot of it in the same light as your subject every time the lighting changes. It will save you a lot of time later trying to get accurate color matching.

Nice little chart.
This is a nice little chart that is small and easy to use. I used it on a video shoot this weekend and I knew lighting was going to change with the sun. I slipped this in with the slate at the beginning of each shot and I was able to keep the look the same. The 18% gray card on the back is great for white balancing and if you want to get a good exposure that is the value on camera meters average too. My only complaint is that it is a bit shiny in direct light. It can make it hard to find the true color of the chart in a picture when all you have is light reflections screaming back in the camera. Other than that it is a valuable tool to have.

Don't bother, save your time (and sanity)
Its actually incredibly useless. So the manfucaturer provides the values on the card itself, which is nice. But theres effectively no way to actually calibrate your photo to those colors. Imagine using the color sliders and attempting to get 12+ colors to be correct all in one go. It just doesn't work. And if you wanted to use a tool like darktable or rawtherapee to do this, its basically a nightmare slog of downloading tools and attempting to get things to work (spoiler, it doesnt). Just don't buy this. Unless they can provide calibration files (like a .cht) you can't actually use this at all. You could buy a license for Lumariver to create a profile for you, but then you are paying $100 for it, and at that price you may as well get the x-rite color checkers cause they have the downloads you need and integrations in software to actually do your color calibration for you. Dont waste your time (like i did) with this. Even for whitebalance, it is not good because the 5x7 postage card is GLOSSY so it will show glare, etc.

Could be better
For the price, you can't expect professional quality but there are better choices. It is bigger than other color charts of similar price and you get two of these. But the card is flimsy and the finish is glossy so you must watch for glare. The printing pattern is visible on some colors. I found shooting the chart slightly out of focus minimized that in case it is an issue. The protective paper folder is not as nice as pictured. Trying to fold the cover over to protect the color chart as shown in the product image would not work. Either mine was glued improperly or the new design has a flaw. My folder came apart. This chart can't be used to automatically build color profiles with Adobe's DNG Profile Editor. For that, you need a 24 color chart. The instructions on the card give a broken link to get a free script for use with Adobe's Camera RAW to create profiles. I eventually found it on their difficult to navigate website, but don't have Camera RAW to try it.
