From the pictures, i can't tell if they are male or female connectors. i'm trying to connect to a 1784-u2dhp round male din connector, and plc5/15

The round connector on the PM02 is for connecting to most Micrologix PLCs. It will not work with your PLC5/15. The pinouts are way different. There is a 3rd party adapter that will do what you need but we don't sell it on Amazon
