Black Ice Personal Cooling MaxSys CCX-S (Black: 2 Packs; UltraCooler)

I bought this for my husband who had neck surgery several months ago. He loves how the ice pack stays positioned on his neck and provides relief from neck muscle pain. He's recently gone back to work in a job that requires him to work outside in temperatures of 95 degrees or more during the summer months. The Black Ice cooling system has been a life saver to him as he works out in the heat. He packs the insulated bag with an ice pack and an extra Black Ice strip and changes out the strips around his neck throughout the day. He gets the double benefit of keeping cool AND having ice where he needs it on his neck. This is a great buy!

I used this product once, at home, in preparation for travel to hot country. It seemed to work fine. 6 months later, my travel finally happened after initially being cancelled. I took the black case cooling system from the cupboard, opened the bag, and discovered that one of the cooling pods had burst, spilling oil over the other and in the inside of the bag. Extremely disappointed in this product. I have written to the company. I do not know if this is unusual, but I would not recommended it at this point in time.

Seller claims the cooler is leak proof. Absolutely not true. The first time we used it water was all over the back of our car. The cooler was tilted just slightly. Not happy about that all. The only reason I didn’t give it one star was because the ice packs and band work very well. But kinda hard to charge when all the water has leaked out of the cooler.

When my husband and son started working as umpires for a local league we soon realized they would need a way to stay as cool as possible in this Texas heat. My search led me to the Black Ice Cooling System. Unsure of the product I ordered only one. As soon as they tried it we saw how necessary it was to have one for each of them. Of course, I promptly ordered more! These are high quality and they work as described. Honestly believe they should be Sugested equipment for anyone out in the heat for extended periods of time!

I bought this a few years back and has worked ever since but today was its first real test. Working in 106 temp and it tricked my brain into thinking it wasn't that hot. Barely broke a sweat over several hours. I switched bands every hour. I've noticed some say it's restricting around the neck but that's kinda how it works. Cools the blood flow. In my case wrenching away on a compressor. The cooling effect far outweighed the minimal discomfort.

Used these for ten years in a hot climate they're practical and effective. Durable product suitable for many laborious work environments. Perpetual cooling only needs ice water to recharge in 20 minutes because they freeze at 57 degrees F. More comfortable than water ice. I've gifted these to many people and they're always so grateful. JUNK!!@!leaked out of every cell 1 hour of use no wear or tear

I like the neckband and black ice packs very much. They definitely helped on a hot day golfing. However, the cooler leaks if it is tipped in the slightest. It leaked all over the golf cart and all over us. I purchased this to use while playing sports. The cooler is completely ineffective. It is also very expensive for a very small cooler. I contacted them, and their solution was to use a Ziploc bag inside. Save yourself the money get the neck bands and the black ice and purchase a cooler that doesn't leak at half the price
