This soap base feels wonderful on the skin
This soap base feels wonderful on the skin. Just a note, it does not melt very easily like other soap bases in a double boiler, the microwave is best for melting this down.

melts unevenly compared to other similar bases i have used
You do get 5 lbs of soap base, which is nice, but it seems to melt unevenly. Picks up color and scent well. Does not re-melt well, has a stringy quality.

I do not Recommend
I've been soaping for several years now and this base is not recommended. Reading the reviews, I decided to take a chance on this soap. Previous reviews stated that it was slow to melt, so I grated the soap to help with the process. What I ended up with was a massive knard of soap that never liquified, even though I heated and mixed the soap in short 10 second bursts. I worked with it the best I could but the results were NOT stellar. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT. AT. ALL.
