The Megatron Figure I've been waiting forever for...
I got this figure today and I LOVE it! This is one of the best Megatron figure variants in regards to the film's lineup of toys with his Voyager mold being the only figure to surpass him. He may not be as tall as the Leader Class Optimus Prime (maybe about 1/2 an inch shorter at most), be he's no less the figure for it. I find his gimmicks particularly fun in robot mode; that faceplate of his probably the coolest gimmick and I actually wish that the Voyager mold had that too. I love flipping out his battle mask. Now some people don't like his fusion cannon because it's finicky with a hair trigger and that it is not film-accurate, but I personally love it; it can turn from shield (as seen on the package art) to cannon with one press. That sword he also carries is superb, both in detail and in form. And his jet mode... it's huge! Not even the leader class Megatron figure from the first film or the leader class Starscream have a wingspan as big. My only nitpicks with him are that his left knee transformation joint doesn't pop in as securely as the right does and that he has slightly loose hips; I found he does do splits in certain positions, but it can be remedied using his ankle-tilt joints if you pose him right. I also should warn you: be careful when transforming him for the first time, because he has joints (particularly in his wings and thrusters) that are meant to pop off if too much pressure is applied. However, this is also a good thing, because they are easily snapped back into place. As such, I give it five stars, for innovation, thinking ahead to prevent toy breakage, and for the all-important gimmicks. This is the Megatron figure worth getting if you want a leader class figure of the Decepticon leader, particularly if you don't like the clunky, giant leader class figure from Revenge of the Fallen.

An amazing toy
Probably the nicest toy I have ever held. The details are amazing. The design is smart. The pieces are meant to pop off rather than break under stress.Hard for my child to transform but who cares, it is awesome !

Love it
Best toy ever, the looks are good and the transformation it's fair is not too hard or too easy the box wasn't in the best shape but the toy wasn't damage.

Super cool - my 7 yo loves it!
Great detail, quality, and sturdiness - not a flimsy toy.

Great megatron
Very cool megatron. Looks great in both modes. Transformation is fun. Oversized cannon is awesome. Lots of detail. One of the best transformers ever.

Nice but arm gun just doesn't stay.
Nice product. Looks really good transformed either way. The right arm gun just doesn't stay, which is frustrating. Bought first one and it didn't stay at all. Props to the seller taking it back without any issues. Bought a 2nd and arm works better, but still doesn't stay as it should. After reading the same thing in many other reviews, this is clearly a design flaw the manufacturer should address.

It is what the 6 year old asked for
The transformer was a little too hard for a 6 year old to work properly but he enjoyed it immensely when the adults transformed it for him. More detailed instructions would be helpful.
